Gta online crossplay

I am wondering if you could crossplay between ps4, xbox one, or pc and if not would it be possible.

Nope and I hope it never crosses their minds. Maybe XBOX ane PS4, but keep PC away.

unlikely for a game this age. as a PC player i hope they never do, getting away from console players was a major plus for me moving to PC.

Because players on PC doesn't have access to mod menus which ultimately rapes the game.

A similar question was asked in the past and for this game it's still a NO for me

Will it happen - No 

 

I know I'm about to contradict myself with the possibility point but I also want to say the games code I think has been mentioned before to be a total clusterf*ck and messing with it now to add crossplay would probably break more things than what Rockstar needs. If it's 5+ years old and crossplay wasn't part of plans very early on then it's unlikely to ever happen. Never say never but usually for older titles it won't happen, better to focus on upcoming titles if you want to add in crossplay. 

 

Could we see it during GTAOnline MK2 for GTA VI? Who knows, if the fanbase & community demands it and the numbers are there, Rockstar may consider looking into it. The gaming industry is introducing more crossplay compatible games but it doesn't mean every last title released from here on out has to be crossplay friendly.

lol sum of my brothers friends were talking about playing gta 5 together on pc and ps4 and I was like wtf?!!??!?!

it's not without it's issues, but there are considerably fewer children and that is enough of a win.

But why though? I can still find randoms to play with on dead stuff like captures and LTS and deathmatches, on PS4 at least. The last thing I want is to have my platform tainted by PC f*ckery. No offense, but things are fine as they are IMO.

If crossplay is built into GTA VI something tells me that the PC Platform will be included in the mix (because of course what is the point of crossplay when you leave out platforms?) 

 

It will probably be included despite how easy it is to manipulate the game and Rockstar probably wouldn't have learnt from their mistakes from GTA V and Read Dead Online which now mean GTA VI online is a doomed mess from the start unless they up their game security & start taking things seriously or only allow crossplay between PS5 and the Xbox X.

Crossplay would be fine between PS4 and XBOX, but PC can run at higher frame rates which gives a unfair advantage in things like races, mouse & keyboard is a more accurate then controllers giving PC players a unfair advantage in gunfights, then you have all the harmful mods PC has.    So crossplay between PS4 and XBOX, sure why not?    But console and PC, no.

 

However considering this is a 6 year old game I highly doubt Rockstar will be adding crossplay now.
