How can I best be a help to Heist leaders?

I've been away for a while, but recently hopped back on to download the latest update.  I've bough an Arcade and fully upgraded it etc, but I just don't have the stomach to do the entire heist from start to finish.  I have NEVER been a fan of any of the heists, only ever completing each one once and then never again.  They just don't suit my play-style.  I'm too much of a lone wolf.  Now if I could complete this new heist completely solo and only ever be able to make 50% of the money, I'd still be happy with that.  It's not about the money for me, it's about game play.

So to that end, I think I'd like to try out some of these heists, but by joining others if I ever get an invite.  It would be nice to unlock some of the new clothing. Frustrating you can't just buy it though.

Therefore, how would I be of the best service to a Heist leader?  Which heist approaches should I accept invites to?  I don't want to be a detriment.  Main reason I tend to avoid heists because, even though I'd consider myself a good GTA gamer, being over rank 700 and 6+ years of experiencing in GTA Online, I just hate it when I screw it up or die, forcing everyone back to the beginning.

Failing that, how else can I utilise this DLC?  I like the passive income of the Arcade, even though low.  But at least you have to do zero work towards it.

Any thoughts of suggestions from you all would be well received.  Thanks all!

Just dont die and dont get yourself detected. If you cant do hacks or drilling, dont waste others time trying.

I cant imagine any run with randoms not turning into an aggressive run very quickly so which you choose probably does not matter haha

Haha cheers.  I never volunteer to do anything I know I wouldn't be good at.

Are the aggressive runs extremely hard?  As in hard like some of the Doomsday Heists or that one particular Casino Job mission?

The fact that you even think about being helpful means it'll be fine, and on top of that you appear to be one of the few russians sensible enough to have learned basic english for online gaming, so you can even communicate ingame, i dont think you realize how rare that is lols :D

I'd say accept any invite of the casino heist, the whole point of this new heist is that it can be played in many different ways with many small differences between the 3 main approaches (stealth/conjob/rambo) so you can easily play 10 different ways in a row if not more.

None of them are really super hard, but host can choose to make it hard for themselves by skipping over some of the preps. worst case scenario it will be difficult like Doomsday Act3, but by far most of the heist's you join will be more like pac standard level of hard (so really not that hard)

The one thing thats important here is communication (for example host can have extra weapons or different disguises stored in casino, and randomly that will only show on his map/he will need to direct you too them or you never get those) and considering you understand english that shouldnt be any problem at all.

Oh and kinda mentioned this already but just so we're clear: you dont need to do all the prep work, you can just do the mandatory bit (doesnt take all that long) and then start the heist. More prep work = Less troubles, oh and if sh*t goes south that doesnt mean you have to restart, you can salvage most f-up's on this heist. I tend to do prep work by myself and usually its like 1,5h work max, then im good to go start the heist (having also done some of the optional preps to make it easier)

Great info, thanks SB!!  I must confess, I'm not Russian haha!  I'm British.  I just use the flag for this persona.

It's great to know that you can salvage the heist if things go a bit wrong.  I'll start accepting some heists from now on.  I'll watch a few videos too to see how each heist plays out so I can prep that way.

Cool thanks!  So I guess these cameras aren't like the ones in Goldeneye 64 lol.

So all set ups are soloable in invite only... they suggest multiple people but thatll just turn into a ceo crate like shuttle run for you, youve done thousands of those right? The finale itself is what it is. Ive heard mixed reviews and personally with the massive checklist making 2 DD heist acts worth of set ups, and volatile payout in terms of what the target is, can you grab it all, and how much yall gunna get shot and bleed out id rather take a time machine to pre-contact mission pay adjustment you know when they all paid like 8k and grind a titan of a job.

However if you can stomach the one mission with randos the novelty is there.

Haha, i was referring to some randumbs i played with. They just dont know what they are doing on a sneaky or con approach. The loud approach is the most common one to play with them i gues.

Thank you for the tips.  I'm sure I'll get around to it all eventually...

Might be a good idea to purchase that upgrade that lets you practice the hacking. Seems that is where more experience really pays off.

I was thinking of doing just that.  Become a master at hacking so I can breeze through it for the team.

You can practice the dots hack in the basement.

But as far as I know you don't actually have to do one if you get level 2 security passes.

There are several youtubers who show how to do the different heist approaches: Digital Car Addict and Ghillie Master are two I like.

The Aggressive approach is really easy and straightforward if you blew up all Duggan Shipments and got the Armored Suits.
