(GTA SA) Why are the bridges still blocked? Even though i already completed the mission to unlock the bridges?

So Im having a weird glitch? The bridges that connects each island is still blocked. I already completed the mission to unlock the bridges. I am in Las Venturas right now, i didn't get any wanted stars too. I downloaded this mod that allowed you to teleport to your marker to continue the journey. This glitch also give problem when doing the first racing mission in Las Venturas that requires you to go through the bridge.

 

I NEED HELP ASAP!!!

GTASnP.com is a save hosting site with tools that can display the enabled IPLs that control the bridges, and a modification tool that can "convert" the IPL flags to whatever is appropriate for your current progress.

Some details please,

  • Which Version of the Game do you have?

1.       Console. (which one)

2.       PC DVD v1 (you are playing with the DVD in the Drive?)

3.       PC DVD v2 (you are playing with the DVD in the Drive?)

4.       STEAM Registered Down Load v3 [Must be connected to the internet]

5.       Mobile (Android or iOS)

6.       Stolen, (Warez, Torrent, Pirated), Game: No fixes to be found here there are too many reasons for the game to not work. The Pirate may have corrupted the games files. The Pirate removed the security code to allow the game to play without the DVD, and may have elimanated necessary code line to make it quicker to upload.  Ask at the Source Site. Or buy the real Game.

[This site does not support Piracy.]

Do you have any modifications to the game?

What if any, cheats have you used?

I am playing on PC, not pirated, i have mods (not loads), and i downgraded my gta.

You don’t need to quote this large post, just posting   answers will be fine.

Since you have modified the Game code, There are many more reasons for the game to not work.

I suggest you remove them all, reinstall the game for a clean then play it to prove it works.

Install your modifications One at a Time, and play the game to prove it still works, repeat until you find the one that broke the a the game.

 OR

The GTA San Andreas forum is NOT for Modding, Modding questions, Modding problems, nor Modding discussions.

Probably because you didn't visit the website, click on the Enabled IPLs link or try adjusting the IPL flags with the modifications tool.

In v1 all barriers are X, in v2 only Barriers to Las Venturas and Yay Factory are checked. (I just checked the SCM/Script is v2 incase this might gave more information) (I also noticed the X means its unlocked and the checked isn't)

So how do i make all of em unchecked (X)?

I am sorry im new to this kind of forum. Thanks!

I fixed it!!! Thank you so much guys the gtaSnP.com method is working. This actually means a lot!!! (Almost gave up and quit because of my mistake) At first i didn't see the Modifications section, thank you guys so much!!!😃😃😃

(sorry for being so dumb, i just realised how dumb i am now)

Edit: Whoops. You figured it out as I was replying. Congrats! I'll leave this up anyway.

 

Expand the Modifications tool list.

Find the IPL Flags tool.
Select v2, Story Barriers.

Download and test.

 

You'll need to upload the save again to view the modified flags - which will probably be just the YKBB "Crack" objects. This shouldn't effect your game, but if you visit the site you might notice some overlapping objects. There are no standard tools for manipulating the Crack object group. It's not too tough to fix with a simple cleo script or a hex editor, but that's a discussion for the modding forums.

 

This issue is usually caused by completing the YKBB mission with game files from the other version. If you have a save from before this mission then reverting should clear up the problem with both object groups.
