Are you sure about that? In the one I have, the drum break starts at 3:40 into the song, which means you'd need to start the song at 11:56:20 for it to hit at midnight.

Yeah, I’m sure. The Official Phil Collins Twitter page posted this. I’ve been doing it the past two years. I think they want people to listen to the Official Music Video rather than the other version.

@ThanosIsRight the best thing is telling people you were banned, nothing wrong with that. if you weren’t peretending and just making jokes about your old account then that’s a different story. 

 

there’s a higher chance of getting banned again if one does not apologise or instead keep making new accounts and peretending to be a new member. did i apologise? nope. but if anyone wants, i can.

 

i had ten other accounts and all them are banned, so i know better than the staff why you can get banned.

 

Or one can....well...just wait one year, move out, get his 7 year old phone finally replaced by something, be untracable by ip adress tracking and just pretend to be something else.

Really, i was closet case for 5 years, i actually do know how pretending works if i wanted it.

Ex nr 2 can testify....or well....actually he can't since i actually hid that well it was me he was talking to online when i tried to get an insight about somethingsomething and he even thanked me for wanting to talk to him.

 

As for apoligizing, the only one i'd apologize to are tiger and maybe alka...whatever their name was...Besides that i feel like i pretty much avenged me losing my account for long enough and it can't have been worth the forced ban roulette game for anyone considering all lost feelings and hurt and all that stuff, so...yea...though it can be that i forgot a few people i unintentionally hurt, me apologizing for everything in a legit way wont happen until hell freezes over.

 

If anyone feels of course like banning that old PBM member account that is this one(again, you can not really ban me for good if i really want to return), for showing this amount of honesty and being here..well...if it makes one feel better, go ahead, since i do admit i kinda got used to it now

 

edit: last year the double accounts where from the german online friend i had...i mean, you know those germans, once they join a war they go all out, but you never really will win with them at your side.(disclaimer: i can guaranty that if said german friend read this one, he would have a laugh with it...there is a reason that after playing together since 2014 he still has not blocked me :D)

Ok, interesting. I didn't realize there was more than one cut of the song. The one where it starts at 3:40 is the one on the actual album and is about 5:34 long. I haven't seen the video, but I'll assume it's based on the single version that I just learned about, which is 4:57 long.

 

Well as long as people know there's more than one version, they can figure out what they want to listen to and be prepared for it to hit at the right time.

Do you like Phil Collins?

I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism.

Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.

Their early work was a little too New Wave for my taste, but when "Sports" came out in 1983, I think they really came into their own, both commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello but I think Huey has a more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In 1987 Huey released "Fore!", their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square," a song so catchy that most people probably don't listen to the lyrics but they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's a personal statement about the band itself.
