Mine was open to everyone but if someone stole it at the start of a mission then I would kick them out and lock it and they can find their own way there. I also use to leave it open to everyone in freeroam and if a low level took it I just used a pegasus vehicle or sole a car if I needed it. That all changed one day when a low level was following me around while I was screwing around in my Vigilante so I stopped and got out to let him take it and after about a minute he stopped next to me got out and killed me and then got back in and drove off. I spawned killed that b*tch for close to 10 minutes until he left the session and after that my vehicles are locked and I only allow passengers or someone else driving in heists and missions.

It won't let you in. The same happens for NPC cars that are supposed to be locked and for some reason the doors end up open.

Leave mines to everyone, I like having a little fun with ppl that steal my car especially when stealing my MK2, after they kill me and able to fly away in my MK2 and  empty the vehicle to watch them fall out of it to their death.

Passengers only ever since someone took my car during a mission. Unless it's the Ruiner 2000 then i lock it for fun results.

I leave mine open to anyone. I especially like to leave out the "fun" or expensive ones, like a Scramjet, that a lower-level might not have access to.

 

I only kick them out if I absolutely need my PV.

Yes, it's my way of sharing vehicles with folks who are often too poor to afford alot of the content. I have a wide selection of vehicles and in the weeks immediately following an update I usually drive the new stuff. 

 

For other, older vehicles, I just like to see what they do with it, how far they go and how long they have it and whether or not it gets destroyed. I'm just super curious as to how other people play this game and their thought process. 

 

In the meantime, I'll just steal an NPC vehicle or go to my CEO menu to drive something else for the full duration unless I join a mission or something specific demands I use my Akula or a Jet (or something else where I feel I "absolutely NEED" my PV, as another poster stated above). But usually I make do with a different vehicle. I'm a bit too generous I guess. 

 

I figure if they damage it or destroy it, that's what insurance is for. It's just a fictional item that's easily replaced so I don't stress over it.

In real public sessions, usually passengers-only. But since I mostly play with friends I set it to friends or anyone.

 

I also got the car bomb kills award with a chrome Dubsta2 parked outside LSC.

I always leave any of my cars unlocked, even weaponized ones. Out of hundreds of one-way trips from low to high-leveled players, I’ve had it returned seven or so times; Three times to the location it was taken from, and four to my own location.

 

Only around ten vehicles were destroyed purposefully(I didn’t count actually getting blown up as they sat vacant to be purposefully destroying them...) and only one player managed to keep it mint, bar the dirt and such. Apparently they had a liking to my carbon-fiber Nero Custom...

Passenger only. I'm usually Invite Only but when I do missions like Paleto Bay Facilities into Los Santos, I'd rather give someone (or everyone) a ride into town if they want it. When driving in those I run across too many players that can't drive. Too many times I'll be in a Kuruma and get there before some of the supers (or right behind them) because they either don't know how to brake or else don't know the shortcuts.

I HATE when people follow the GPS. Back in my day, we never even had a map, just an arrow. (Top-Down GTA's)

 

People that set a waypoint are even worse. I know the f*cking map, mate. I used to have no life(6,000+ hours(SP & Online), rank 815-ish)

 

Sometimes I kick people out of my car and be like, idk what happened.. lol
