How does "The Love Professor" really work?

Its meant to be that way. If you play with the same person it will always be the same. The point is to try with different people till you find a match.

i have a new theory. simple. just do it x-times with different player to unlock.

why? the first 3-times i get "cold". on the 4th i get "warmer", the 5th "cold" again.

so on the 6th must be another reached level, PLUS i saw something "helpful" here:

Are you saying in one session, or in total?  If the latter, that definitely isn't it.

in total. but i take it back again.

just tried it no in total 12x times with "randoms".

4x = warmer, 8x = colder.

 

so, there is no logic. ARGH.

I've noticed with a friend that we get different results in different sessions.

 

We've been doing it before and after a heist and getting different results.

I did it earlier with @ZiggyZaggy  both yesterday and today, and we got the same results "thraw out"

We haven't done any super extensive testing as my friend isn't too interested in the medals, we've just noticed that different sessions have given different results for us. No real pattern to the results though

 

The main test I've done with him is the before and after I've mentioned, but I've generally had different results in different sessions (Though none of them have resulted in a medal unlock) If I were to guess, you don't need to do a casino heist you just need to join a new session, it's just doing the casino heist put me and my friend in a new session. (Though someone else mentioned they've done this and got the same result, which confuses me)

 

On an unrelated note, from what I've read friendzone can be achieved randomly and True Love can be influenced by Nazar, has anyone figured out Nemesis? Is that random?

It's related to Madam Nazar. If she says something along the lines of 'You will find true love... but only if you act quickly!' you're guaranteed to 'win' at The Love Professor.

I tried whit about 60 people and impossible to have friendzone and nemesis , i had 2 times the hreat love with nazar .

i didnt have time to try this but i was thinking that maybe nemesis is triggered by having 2 players getting true love with the same person.

 

something like player 1 and 2 get true love with player 3, then player 1 and 2 do the love machine and maybe that triggers nemesis.

 

its can be time consuming given the fact player 1 and 2 have to get the "love" message from the nazar but i think its worth to try it.

 

if someone try this and get it please report back.

I got True Love with a Christmas newbie after Nazar said I'll find true love.  Thankfully they were female.

 

I should get in with lining up with a bunch of people during a livestream and see if they end up totally Ice Cold or Friendzoned.

This machine depends on your name letters & length and some stats.

Specific stats are:

Player Skills

Number of vehicles near misses

Total time flying a plane

Total time flying a helicopter

Successful Plane Landings

Hits

Best score achieved in Shooting Range

Total distance walking in Stealth mode

Number of stealth kills

Number of Melee attacks

Total distance running

Total time swimming

Total time riding a bicycle

Total number of prostitutes frequented

Total number of lap dances bought

 

The Friend zoned award depends on the difference of your love levels, it must be 7 levels or more. If I reach Cold Shoulder, and you reach Hot n Heavy, the difference will be 7 love levels which would grant us the Friend zoned award.

 

To reach True Love, your stats and names must be almost identical, and the sum of both your name and your friend name letters must be an even number.

 

Update: The Nemesis award is RNG-based, both players must hit Ice Cold and hope a random number generated in your game match up with a random value generated in your friend game.

Same case with True Love award (one exception is Madam Nazar love line which guarantee the player to receive True Love).

Nemesis is basically a rare version of Ice Cold.

If you and your friend hit Ice Cold, the game generate a random number from 1 to 27, this number in both your friend game and yours must be identical to get the Nemesis award.

In other words, it's just a matter of getting lucky.

Btw, the same case is with True Love award, it's RNG-based.

So, as a Day 1 player, level 785, the chance of legit finding a True Love are next to zero?  I'm sure I have more bicycle time than most, as I have a regional-inspired series of bike races I've done a few times that few would match. 

 

EDIT: Also, some of these stats seem to be not actually viewable, unless I'm missing seeing where things like successful plane landings and NPC vehicles shot would be.

no, true love is quite easy, you can get it by simply having the nazar speak machine give you the "love" message, after that just go to the love machine and you will get true love.
