Gummy
I've had a PC which uses an SSD for Windows and important programs, and a 2TB Seagate Firecuda which I divided into 2 partitions, for games and for work/projects. After 7 months, my Firecuda is starting to die already, bad sectors popping up and stuff on my games folder being wiped out or corrupted after restarts (RIP RDR2 download). Thankfully, my work partition is fine, but I want to afford a new one before something happens to that one, too. Any recommendations? I'll use it to store games and work/project stuff. I've been looking at replacing it with a WD Black but I'm not completely sure, any suggestions?
Nico
I always bought blue label, 2TB Western Digital disks and never had problems. I had a purple label 3TB disk that was slowly dying on me, and later I found out it wasn't meant for the purpose I was using it for. Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder... ...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?
