(Had just finished a stranger mission from Sean) Tldr: I was at Quaker's Cove when i got the prompt but the event was in Ambarino. I don't think that's the moonshine random event. If you fail it (the buyer got killed), you will not be able to sell your product for some time (about 30 minutes?) I had full product and nothing lost, just a cooldown on the sell. I remember there were at least 2 in lemoyne. Tried looking for the “moonshine brothers” location online but no luck. I had the same Idea and upon my travels, I went through pretty much all the moonshine related locations which you find in the story mode. Void Paragon Posted December 27, 2019 Share Posted December 27, 2019 Ok, after scouring the map all around few times i got nothing. To be fair - there is not that many hidden spots on the map. Pick any spot and you will have a random event or a treasure nearby. But since nobody was able to find this event either, it's safe to assume that this event can't be met randomly. Which lead us to 2 possibilities: 1. This event is currently disabled. After Moonshiner update R* greatly changed Collector role and random events. Events like "dog leading to the treasure", "catch the wagon", "2 NPC duel in the town" and others become super rare. Pretty sure that camp raids are disabled either. 2. This event have some strict conditions that must be met. Could be anything, really. 100 bootlegger missions done; getting drunk 100 times; dancing in the bar for 100 hours straight; catching, beheading and sacrificing Santa. With the number of people playing this game cross three different platforms, if it was lootable, I have to believe it would have been found already and posted. The random event thing is plausible because those have been almost nonexistent for the last couple of weeks for me. I'm guessing with the amount of support tickets they are probably getting about this, they are going to do something about it by next update. Rev. Tez2 Posted December 28, 2019 Share Posted December 28, 2019 It's tied with the moonshine camp, the problem is that Rockstar nerfed the random events to the point that they became extremely rare, it's been 2 weeks since the release of the update and no one is yet to find the poison poppy recipe. Or us ending up in almost full lobbies cause the events to not happen frequently. I have noticed that no matter what I do to slow down my internet, I always end up in almost full lobby which make it difficult to find animals and random events. I don't know how, but the other day I had a solo lobby for 4 hours and I triggered every random event except the camp. I wish I knew the general area to look I have noticed that in 60% of the time when doing the bootleggers mission where you are given a search area to find and destroy the rival moonshiner stills I end up in permanent solo lobby, may be my potato internet as well. I read a mention that someone had an event where you had to "stealth kill npc moonshiners" in New Hanover, but the writer was bit vague of where there.
