I found it one day for NO reason, no white dot, no random encounter. Happened across a camp with two corpses & it was in a chest by the campfire. Can't explain it, it was just f***ing THERE. Happened about a week after I gave up looking completely. all I can say is, do moonshiner stuff, then keep your eyes open. There doesn't seem to be an actual method to the madness. We almost missed the blip because it happened so fast without repeat and when my husband looked over he got lucky enough to see the small camp set up not too far to the south of Black Belle's cabin. I don't know if it was glitched because we didn't get to doing any of the moonshine missions at the time as we just spawned into the game because usually they say to do a moonshine related activity to get it to spawn in. Maybe another player had spawned it in for us to see? Hopefully you find it soon, this thing was a pain in the butt to get. I wasn't actively looking for it, was heading up to Nazaar in Big Valley and noticed the two dead bodies on the map. Its fully upgraded, all story missions complete, updated theme, and its own band. Its completely maxed out and I done countless sales over the past few months. I spent numerous periods of time putting the business on hold to track down this recipe at the marked locations and it never shows. I think it could be tied to player populations but there is nothing I can do about that since Rockstar is obsessed with keeping everyone together, regardless of how detrimental it is cause the system cannot handle it. I just ran into the camp at Bluewater Marsh on my second character, who has no role at all, but was able to loot the recipe. Rev. Went to my moonshine shack and bought the bar upgrade and upgraded everything else fully. Main still at camp, alt came back, chest with recipe now gone for alt only. In a way, i don't think anyone, without the roles bought, should be able to loot anything role related. I've got several collectables in my bags on my lowbee character already, without the ability to sell them. So, I guess these lootable items kinda function as the GTAO phone calls and get us to buy ourselves into the roles that way. I play both accounts on 1 PS4, btw. Maybe that makes a difference. Then again, I've stopped using my moonshine shack for the past two months, as I was tired of always only being offered that lowball buyer all t he time. Decided it wasn't worth my hassle, so sticked to camp-sales and legendary bounties... Today I sold another batch (first one in about two months). Lo and behold, I could sell it for the advertised price at start of the brewing... Not particularly fond of time-restraints between production and sales...
