Adrenalist
Been experimenting with this location and have a question, which might be well suited for those familiar in coding. Was hoping my fellow forumers could extend a helping hand on figuring this out, if there’s anything to it. The girl chained in the outhouse spouts numerical gibberish, so I copied it and was wondering if this possibly has any significance. Here is what she says: 1,2,3,7,6... 4,5,11... 2... uh,1,2,10,3,5,8,13,14... 1,2... 3... 4... 17... tw-tw-29, 13... 1,2,3,4,5,17,8,9,3... 1,2,4,7... 5,9,1 1,1... 1... 1,2,3... s-7,6,3... 5,11,t-2... 1,2,10,3... 4,5,8,13,14,1... 1,2... 1,2,3,4... 1,2,3... 4,7,3,6! 1,2,3,4,5...17? ~begin steps 4 thru 10 loop~ *if there is a letter before the number, it is her phonetically stammering before pronunciation. Just felt it best to include everything, including the stammering and pauses. Here it is cleaned up: 1,2,3,7,6,4,5,11 2,1,2,10,3,5,8,13,14 1,2 3,4,17,29,13 1,2,3,4,5,17,8,9,3 1,2,4,7,5,9,1 1,1,1 1,2,3,7,6,3 5,11,2,1,2,10,3 4,5,8,13,14,1 1,2,1,2,3,4 1,2,3,4,7,3,6 1,2,3,4,5,17 ~begin loop of steps 4 thru 10~ Anyone have a clue? Deadman2112
@Adrenalist Most people apparently think this is just gibberish and a waste of time. (There is a thread on this, I'll post a link below.) I'm not entirely convinced it's nothing. Especially when you consider the English Spelling Practice Document. When correctly deciphed it reveals a hidden poem. If you would like to read the poem click on the link and scroll down to the third to last post that I made. Awful Waffle
English Spelling Practice is a confirmed easter egg. it's a Native American boy who wrote a poem about his life before being captured. you can decode it by taking out the first letter from each word. "Waziya" is Dakota for evil. Quote Waziya comes with winter breath. His trees stand guard whispering all night that we sleep in our grave. Father fought and died so quickly. Mother dies slow. https://www.manataka.org/page210.html Braithwaite girl is just an idiot who can't count. you guys aren't the first to speculate. people have tried converting her timing into Morse and other coded languages but so far it appears to be absolutely nothing. Yeah I know about the poem that's hidden within the English spelling practice. I made a post about it on the other thread. When I read about the English spelling practice and the poem that can be deciphered from it, I thought it was a very cool EE. ...and even cooler how they hid that in that document. I agree the Braithwaite girl does seem to be simply rambling but like I said I'm not entirely convinced it's nothing. Although I have to admit, I've yet to find any answer to it. So perhaps it is nothing. Edited January 10, 2020 by Deadman2112
Adrenalist
So, after watching the Strange Man video on this, I’m not convinced this is solved. 29 isn’t a letter, so I’m not convinced it’s letter oriented. If this is pentagram related, then there are a possible three pentagrams. There is the obvious outhouses: 1,2,3,4,5 Then a less obvious 6,7,8,9,10 And another less obvious 11,13,14,17,29 I did do some searching around Butcher’s Creek to see if I could find markers for the lessor obvious ones. I did find what appeared to be 29 bottles on a table. I also looked at this from a 30,000 foot view from the number sequence. Gertrude counts a few sequences and then goes into a loop. Maybe we are to do the outhouse sequence in a particular way and then loop around it to “finish” the pentagram. I tried doing the sequence of 1-5 between 4-5am and was able to make it. I did this with the pig mask on because we can find it there and one of the men in the camp commented “a devil’s mask for doing the devil’s work”. Nothing happened. I did not have enough time to loop around all the outhouses, however. Anyway, not too convinced this mystery is solved yet as Strange Man is calling it, but I think if there’s something more there to be found, experimenting in Butcher’s Creek is the way. If you're right about the numbers being three pentagrams, maybe they are not all at Butcher's Creek. Obviously another is the Vampire's writings in Saint Denis, but unsure if that could be tied to the numbers. Not sure if there is a third pentagram anywhere else? Adrenalist
I’ve ridden around and can’t find anything that supports my theory. The more I played with the idea, the more it sucked. Been playing with the numbers for the last day and I’m leaning toward them being a riddle in binary, but they need some massaging, first. The statue puzzle showed that prime and real numbers have significance. Each line of numbers begins with “1”, which is a real number. Converting to binary, it can begin with a “0” or “1” depending on what alphabet language you’re using. Either way, all real numbers would be designated either “1” or “0” and primes the opposite. The problem solving would come in trying to make light of the number sequences, thus possibly determine what does/doesn’t belong, and decode the binary alphabet language(s) being used. Anyway, that being said, being that all lines start with a real #, and primes/reals already shown to have significance, it’s the direction I’m playing in.... DrDetroit
12345 refer to outhouses in Butchers creek. Each one has a number inside. If you plot out each outhouse, it will make pentagram, indicating that the girl is not mentally deficient, but actually possessed. I think the rest of the numbers are gibberish actually. EDIT; Sorry guys, didn't read the part where you figured out the outhouse. R* and their riddles...good stuff. Good day! Adrenalist
Agreed. There is no real pattern from what I can gather. Tried for a few hours again to piece everything to coherence. I do agree that it has everything to do with the outhouses in Butcher Creek, but disagree on the gibberish part. I do think there’s something to be found. There are nine sequences. That would be walking the pentagram twice just before the last (tenth) location is met. So now I’m considering it being a riddle of time in seconds that we are supposed to remain in each outhouse before we continue on. Since we used Prime Numbers in one puzzle, would we then omit them from this one? If this were the case (and we ignore Gertrude’s pausing, repetition and question mark which should also be analyzed) and add all numbers for each row that aren’t Prime numbers, the simple breakdown would be: Outhouse 1: 11 seconds Outhouse 2: 23 seconds Outhouse 3: 5 seconds Outhouse 4: 22 seconds Outhouse 5: 18 seconds Outhouse 1: 9 seconds Outhouse 2: 37 seconds Outhouse 3: 18 seconds Outhouse 4: 9 seconds Outhouse 5: something happens Another scenario worth consideration is that she says later in one of her sequences ...3,5,11,2 after she rattled off the normal 5 digit beginning sequence. 3,5,2 is counter clockwise circling from Outhouse 1 in direction to complete the circle. The only problem with this is it adds an 11th step. So while it fits what may be necessary, it certainly lacks the narrative above. Therefore, maybe it’s simply to do 1-5, back to 1, then a counter clockwise circle back to 1 within 120 seconds (3am-4am) and everything Gertrude said were just subtle hints to this....
