List of Gunman/Driver choices (Weapons/Vehicles)

Recommended Posts

SummerFreeze

My plan is to compile a list here of the weapons and vehicles provided by each gunman and driver.

Before making a choice, only a small picture is seen of the options. It's impossible to to undo the selection, other than by cutting internet connection.

Any help is welcome!

Honestly, just pick the cheapest driver (He can get you a Sentinel Classic which is a very respectable car, choose that one) and the cheapest gunman (Micro SMG or Machine Pistol is also more than enough anyway) and keep that 10% cut you saved for yourself.

Only one you shouldn't go cheap on is the hacker since that directly translates to the amount of money you'll get at the end.

Driver (Biker?): Zach Nelson

Vehicles:

Manchez

Stryder

Defiler

Lectro

Bear in mind Zach picks 4 bikes for the getaway rather than 2 if you're planning on picking him, so even less capable of doing it yourself.

Two, assuming you own all business properties:

Avi Schwarzmann (destroy all jammers)

Packie McReary (rescue him during a random encounter)

I don't know if Charlie Reed, Chester McCoy, ... are only unlocked after buying certain properties.

What about Grotti Furia? It has trading price of little over 2mill compared to 2.7, but there is no driver who provide it as optional getaway car. So either dripfeed driver or mistake on R* side.

Maybe it's linked to the rumored Ron/Gerald dripfeed missions.

Definitely not a Rockstar $700K mistake. I'm also wondering what the unlock key is, may have to wait for the data miners to uncover it.

You can use Yung Ancestor’s Grotti Furia as a getaway vehicle when you use him as the entry for The Big Con approach. You don’t actually chose it as a getaway vehicle before launching the mission, but he’ll call you as you exit the casino that it’s in the casino parking lot.

Obviously I can’t confirm if this unlocks the trade price as the vehicle isn’t released yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it does, as it’s the only way to use it during any of the heist approaches.

That's probably it then, now i wonder if this approach is chosen or sultan classic is picked, will this unlock trade price even if those cars are not released yet...

Thank you for this. I picked Taliana thinking she had the new Super car.... but she didn't. :/

I mean I don't want the car RIGHT now. But better to unlock the trade price now, that way when it DOES go on sale.... even more money saved!

Bumping this because people continue to ask about it in other threads.

I should finish the gunman list once I get to host the Aggressive approach one more time.

If someone wants to include the info in one of the pinned threads that would be helpful, I guess.

Big Con w/Yung Ancestor approach to unlock the trade price.

He gives you a call when you exit the casino and the (his) car is placed in the outdoor parking lot but you don't actually have to use the car to unlock the trade price. Me and my team hung up on him because we were trying to run to our getaway cars.

None. You have to go the "Big Con" route and select the young amateur groupie entry in order to unlock the Furia's trade price. You'll first have to trigger young amateur by going up to the roof terrace where a cutscene should play, which will add young amateur to your phone contacts. He'll call you shortly after I think about taking care of two things for him, which will be posted on your heist prep board.

Ok great. Thanks for the info. The trade price is only for the leader of the heist correct? Not for everyone?

Do you know if trade price unlocks on both outcomes, if you get detected or undetected? Do you have to actually enter car to unlock trade price or it's enough to choose yung ancestor disguise? Since you must select driver on heist board, will you also unlock trade price for car you choose as getaway vehicle?

  • You can get detected going as in Yung Ancestor superfans
  • You don't have to enter the Furia
  • You will unlock both its trade price and that of the getaway vehicles

This all happened to me, so I can confirm it's true. It's the first heist I hosted, and what a sh*tshow it was. 😂

(My getaway car was the Vagrant, and when the Furia was released yesterday, I had the trade price.)

I finally found Packie after 2 days of switching session and waiting for van to spawn. I couldn't trigger the event at vineyard like a lot of videos suggested, so i found him at the suburban and drugstore parking lot on route 68. First two times i couldn't enter the van and finally when i switched session van immediately spawned there and i was done with that headache. Anyway i'm on aggressive path now and  Packie provides either combat MG or combat PDW, so OP can edit the post for those interested. I think he as weapon expert is most useful on aggressive heist because mg can clean the rooms easily without a need to reload.

I completed the list of weapons now.

Will probably add the magazine size for every weapon soon.

If anyone spots an error let me know.

Man, Chester McCoy has quite the gall to charge 10% for what kind of vehicles he's providing. Vagrant's nice, and Outlaw has a fine look to it. But the Zhaba? Hoo, boy I should charge HIM 10% for that one. Sure it comes with bulletproof tires but it's not exactly fast. I suppose that's a price for fast off-road vehicles.

Does Eddie Toh still have his fascination with the Kuruma? I've heard he had a habit of replacing the Sultan Classic and Komoda with the Kuruma.

Regarding Eddie Toh, yeah, there appears to be a bug. I should probably add a note until it's fixed.

Chester McCoy is an even worse gunman than he is a getaway driver. Special ammo means small clip sizes and limited capacity. If you get detected or do the Aggressive approach, you're likely to run out of ammo.

What's the best getaway car? In terms of top speed because you're mostly just driving on highway

I think it is the jugular probably

Yeah, the Jugular is the fastest you can get on a highway.

In terms of price-performance, the cheapest driver provides a Sentinel Classic.

In the snow I'd say the Manchez is best. That is when hiding in the sewer tunnels first though, because you are very vulnerable when pursued.

Usually with a car I've been going along the railroad tracks to Paleto Bay and hide in the tunnel there, which is a bit quicker than hiding the sewers first and then taking the highway.

But I've also read it's possible to take a helicopter from the police station opposite of the casino. I can't confirm this yet but it would obviously be the best if true.
