I cannot see any reason to ever get the drills tbh.

Liking my growing list of skippable preps. No tunnel boring machine, no exit disguise, no drills.

It really depends. Drilling still pays more than Headhunter (my threshold for good payment), but of course there are situations where getting the drills makes barely any difference. If you're going for artwork though with 4 players and stay undetected... you better bring drills.

Honestly I would add patrol routes to that list. I just did gruppe sechs big con believe me...absolutely no difference.  Couldn't imagine this prep would have any effect on the aggressive approach either.

Def get those drills though!

Has any done a helipad exit with the High Roller outfit?

It's probably nothing special, but it would be funny if you could leave in a luxury helicopter.

I have silent and sneaky approach on hard for ps4. All the setups done. I’m trying to get the award for undetected. Anybody on ps4 willing to help me out? I will give the most money you can in the finale. I just want the award

I might try that soon, so I'll report back! What kind of helicopter normally spawns, if any?

I plan on doing it with Manchez.

that's great, one thing I like to do in this game, out of the box solutions. Which car is this one?

Its Guardian, so I tried Bikes and the spawn location was terrible+ If you play with two players only two bikes will spawn so you have to upgrade all of them. Ofc during final I've got the two unupgraded Manchez...

I expected the spawn to be inside the hippodrome or at least similar to where spawns Sentinel Classic. I'm disappointed...:(

You don't have to try it; I'm pretty sure nothing special happens.

I like taking the roof exit with the High Roller outfits though, because you can then simply parachute across the highway, instead of having to sneak past the guards.

I know this works for the crew biker. When your stealing the motor cycles from the cops station kill al cops inside find all bikes place them front of the door drive 1 outside. Then get back inside collect an other bike drive out and the wanted level is gone. Deliver that 1. And repeat so this works for me solo. No cops. I didnt test this out for the other vehicles. Maybe this works also?

From my experience this works with all getaway vehicles. Don't even need to kill the cops inside the garage just watch their cones. Just remember to turn RIGHT driving out of the garage and you'll never trigger a wanted level.

Its faster not to kill cops for this mission, as in NOOSE server farm. That Rockford variation is quite good btw.

EDIT: anyone tried it during NOOSE outfit prep? This sh*t is dumb but It works.

I played yesterday with a random who had done the NOOSE exit setup despite also having High Roller available, that was a bit of a head scratcher.

maybe he thinks it will unlock the NOOSE outfit...

Collecting those playing cards sure was worth it, to not do any exit disguise prep ever again

Is the police station helicopter still spawning? I did a heist with randoms last night and it wasn’t there. Perhaps we just got unlucky but there was a background update and slightly concerned R* have removed it.

No. They patched it a while back. I never got the chance to use it myself, but I think the sewer tunnel is the easiest escape route right now.

Hmmm that's interesting. Maybe it's back. I'll probably keep using the sewer though, as it's 100% fool proof. I don't fancy going to the police station and climbing all the way up to the roof just in case it isn't there. Worth chancing though if you're going for the elite challenge.

You can drive a bit further uphill to see if it's there or not.

Thanks. There were false reports it had been patched previously, sometimes you just get unlucky. That said, I’m sort of surprised they haven’t patched it, given it completely negates the reason for going with a closer buyer or a clean getaway vehicle. I suppose the Casino Heist is much more open to free styling, than Pac Std which is much more to a script.

Yes, it just a unlucky outcome with how the Police Station chopper spawns.

The chopper spawns 100% as long as there's police choppers in the air to force the spawn. If you exit silent and sneaky successfully, there might not be.

Driving cross-country to Sandy Shores Airfield (and then the railroad) via Madrazo's ranch works just as well though, although not as fast.

If I start a Doomsday heist, will it reset my current Diamond heist progress? I miss having a Lester invite to get away from the spawn killers.

Nah you can have all three types of heists active/in progress at once they don't interfere with each others.

Getting Infiltration Suits (silent & sneaky) at Zancudo can be tough. Lots of soldiers keep coming in waves and the enemy helicopters are like the ones from the vault explosives prep- they will cut you to pieces in no time. A method that works for me is: call Pegasus to deliver a Buzzard. Land the Buzzard outside the the perimeter checkpoint at Zancudo (at the end of the bridge). Call the mechanic to deliver a Khanjali. Use the tank to clear out the place, hack the door, get the suit, get back in the tank and drive to the Buzzard. Again, be careful for those enemy helicopters, they can make your chopper smoke almost immediately. Explosive sniper rifle comes in handy there. Happy hunting.

I use a similar strat for Laser Drills prep on El Burro. Call CEO Volatus (has better protection than Buzzard), land near the battle site, call Khanjali, kill them all red dots, get the first drill, come back to Volatus, lose the cops, then deliver it.

There won't be any enemies for the second drill retrieval.

The chopper spawns just fine, but since they took diamonds away, we aren't getting npc vehicles in the parking lot anymore. Either going to need to bump to 7% cars, or run it out the long way. Luckily the gold has been glitchy lately and letting us fast run and jump.
