Added new ‘Hold to Reel (Fishing)’ option within the Controls settings menu to improve accessibility for this minigame when using a controller. When activated, rotation of the control stick is replaced with a hold [Square / X] action.

Anyone try this yet ?

If it all works as intended, this update is chock full of QoL improvements! Wildlife spawns, camp problems, disconnects, and lots more issues were fixed/changed for the better (again, if it all really works in populated sessions).

Yea animal spawns in particular right now seem to be very, very good.

Disconnects and connection problems however seem to be frequent atm, hopefully it's just update day issues and not a new problem introduced with the patch.

buying stock for moonshining is useless. I've spent a good few dollars on it and the profit is low to nothing much.

I'm not experiencing much wildlife spawns yet. It's a long list of overdue fixes, but a good thing they finally address them right, instead of the normal "fixed various stability issues".

Paid 75 for some stuff for Marcel to start working. Buyers offer 82 or even less. Useless. I haven't fully upgraded anything yet, though.

You pay 20 dollars for the stuff for Marcel to make the standard Moonshine. You can add plants to it for special buyers who will pay more. You can also buy the equivalent of a Medium and Large upgrade and the ability to make two special orders at once.

I added plants for flavor, going up to 75 bucks. The highest buyer pays 82 and i wouldn't be surprised if I have to do a long distance delivery in Offensive mode. I'll dig into the role later on. First I'll be restoring outfits and creating new ones.

You bought them? You know you can find the plants right?

Yeah, I know. But I couldn't be bothered grinding yet.

So let me get this right, and I mean this with no venom at all just an observation, you bought all the plants and are then surprised that an un-upgraded Moonshine still gave you poor profit?

If I buy a supply voucher for Cripps, I pay $20 bucks per ticket, $80 for a full bar of goods. I get $500 back for it. That's a lot better payout for buying supplies.

I am not surprised the profit is bad. I'm just mentioning it. If I am surprised, I'll add some screaming text or smilies, to be perfectly clear.

That's because you need to buy the better stills to make better Moonshine. They are like Medium and Large Wagons. Marcel cannot make better Moonshine until he has better equipment and unlike Trader you sell the full batch each time but with Trader until you buy the large Wagons you can only sell your stuff in small increments and you get more money for the Large batch anyway.

The first Moonshine Still was free, sold the 20 bottles for 82,50 or something. And just now I had to pay 60 Rdo$ for  the next Moonshine Still...

So not 20 but 60 dollars!

And I couldn't find a way to not buying the stuff 😞

Edit: Sold the next batch, now the Mash price is 40 dollars...

Seconde edit: From shot her thread:

"No. The Moonshiner equivalent of supply missions are little PvE missions that decrease the cost of your next mash and give some Moonshiner exp."

I don't know what camp issues or daily issues they solved. I selected 'Camp" as spawn spot at login, was put miles away from mine and into someone else's.

Gave it another go and spawned at my own camp, donating two 2s-star carcasses to Cripps. Game sees only 1 in my inventory (1 on horse and 1 being carried by me), but gave me the 1/6 perfect carcasses donated progression message.

I love to think they fixed a lot, but I'm not seeing it yet.

When fast traveling to your shack, you arrive without your horse.

And why, again, do I have the feeling that my purchased business is not mine? I now work for Cripps and for his crush? So yes, I bought a property where I can't live or spawn in, no wardrobe options (so far) or anything but some old hag bossing me around....

After doing missions for the hag, I spawn back in the world without my new gun visible. I can draw it, but when sheathing it, you can't see it in my holster.... There's a lot yet to iron out in this game to call it stable.

Ok the new poncho (the one that hangs mostly on your back) and the bandoleers are f*cking awesome. Well, the bandoleers don't look too good with coats on my character but yeah, in general, happy with the fashion updates.

Had the same issue. Press left on the dpad and select camp and properties. :)

To be honest I was doing the 82 bucks delivery and plenty of players rode by like it was nothing. Players won't mess with you that much, but this faction called "The Revenue" or Revenue Agents will be the ones you will most likely brush up against. They also don't miss their shots even when you are several football fields away they will still land shots on you as if you were directly in front of them. I'm almost there to getting an upgraded still so the prices are bound to be better.

Outfit wise I didn't have a problem yet, but when I was driving the wagon with equipment to get the still started and the Revenue pursued me for some reason they wouldn't let me bring my weapon wheel up, they wouldn't let me aim, and they wouldn't let me shoot.

Agreed. I was excited that they finally brought a property in the game, and while I do like the shack and it has a great spawn at Tall Trees, it doesn't really feel like "my" shack. Part of the problem for this ordering around business, IMO, goes back to the fact that R* dropped the ball again with these unbelievably stupid mute characters. There's no forth and back between me and Cripps, or me and the Moonshine lady, because I'm a mute f**k whose communication is limited to a wave emote that looks like a third grader having brain convulsions. I'm relegated to be an errand boy for a dirty hobo and his creepy friend with benefits.

Also, yes, the travel agents are mean bastards. I don't mind admitting that they'd have kicked my ass pretty good, if it wasn't for my cache of dynamite.

I didn't sell any yet and have 20 bottles ready. One thing I've learned from Rockstar games is never to do any new missions at day #1. I'm saving them 20 bottles for a later sale when most of the first day issues have been ironed out.

Can't go wrong with that. It will save you some headaches. This role won't go super fast as far as leveling, but probably a decent enough pace. I don't think its going to be super lucrative though, but its hard to tell without having the Moonshine all the way upgraded and everything going as intended. I can see myself maxing this out and finishing up the last few ranks of trader(I'm not a fan of this role, so I'm still not maxed), then once done do a couple of collector runs to increase savings.
