LEXX141
this is the worst porting of the game in the last few years. The game works like a piece of sh*t, endless downloads, problems with textures, errors online. The most annoying thing is that developers do not want to repair their game. On a 1080p Monitor try setting your Resolution Scale to 1.25 then the blurryness of TAA goes away. And I am pretty sure the trailer was recorded in 4k on everything Ultra Setting on a real high end machine. T-ru
I did a lot of tests these days and the performance in the towns is awful, especially in Saint Denis, no matter from the graphics settings there is still freezes, stall, pulling... popping textures, in Online is WORST! The strange thing is that if the graphics settings are lower then the problems above are more !!! A friend of mine with much better PC than mine have better fps less freezes, lags... but have much much more popping textures !!! I hope for some really good update, but something tells me that this game will be well playable after a long time, now there will be only Online contents like they(R*) do with each PC version! Officer Friendly
If you notice stutters and frame drops I highly recommend to delete the SGA files(Vulkan or DX12) periodically. I do this since gta4, MP3, GTAV... and everything is much better and normal than to change the settings and to continue playing. To me there is something little that f#cked up performance in the towns, everything is great and smooth but when I go near or in some town the first seconds are lags and freezes then become normal as if the game needed some adaptation time with peds and textures. 6 hours ago, MarshallRawR said: What fixed my stuttering was to get over 8GB of system memory so that can be a strong possibility. The only drawback is the 1920x1080 resolution, but that's a nice way to get the same crystal-clear motion of a CRT. When anything is moving on-screen, as long as vsync is enabled and the framerate remains above the refresh rate, it is exactly as clear as it is when it's perfectly still. *Sigh*...I miss my 2304x1440 @ 85Hz, 24" widescreen CRT...
