Retro Arcades - Locations and Prices

As usual once there are new locations, I fly arround and take pictures. Maybe someone is interested in taking a look as a help to decide which is the best. I guess we have to drive a lot there, so an overview of the location and streets might be useful.

And sorry that they're taken in the night, it's my lunchbreak atm ;).

Overview of the six ones to chose from::

Does anyone know which one is received from the twitch prime benefits? Nvm, (for anyone who is wondering too, it’s Pixel Pete’s in Paleto Bay).

Are the Locations linked to the new Missions?

So, the higher the Price of the Arcade Location, the "better" for the Heist?

I like the one in Rockford Hills, because most of my Stuff is in the West.

But the Outdoor Style seems a little bit lame...

I’m leaning towards Videogeddon in La Mesa.

Closest to the casino, not too expensive, (though on the east side) not too far north or south, wide street access, nearby Pay’n’Spray, not terrible for helicopter access, location balances against my Office and Bunker locations.

Change my mind

If you're a grinder you might consider getting a location next to a heist apartment you can teleport to.

You can do pretty much all your business stuff from the master control center in the arcade basement.

Really close are...

- Eight-Bit (Vinewood): Eclipse Towers, or Tinsel Towers

- Insert Coin (Rockford Hills): Del Perro Heights, or Richards Majestic

Apparently the casino heist doesn't offer a teleport -- at least not to me yet.

But is proximity to the casino necessarily an advantage? From what I'm reading so far, I don't think it is. I think proximity to your apartment is more beneficial by the sound of things.

It doesn't really matter I suppose. Either way, in typical me fashion, I'll end up buying the wrong one anyway 😂

My condolences for your loss if you own the paleto thing.

Damn the vinewood arcade is quite away from my stilt house, it's also the most expensive location which means that it will be the tryhard central for some time.

Guess I'll take La Mesa then as it's the next best location for me.

I bought La Mesa as well before I knew about all the functions of the master control center, and at least for the actual heist it seems to be a very good location.

I won't move it until arcades are discounted.

What I dislike about it though is the entrance to the garage.

True, they allready formed up arround my arcade when i was inside. How sad is the community these years.

I'm calmy visiting the arcade places with my Torero before buying.

So far I liked the look of the Grapeseed one the best. The Davis one also looks good.

I will think more before buying though

When I see this happening I just change sessions. I like to imagine their rage (because as griefers, you can be 100% sure they are raging).

I have no training in psychology but I'm pretty sure they perceive that as you "rage quitting".

How Important is it to be near an appartment? Do you start the heists in an arcade or inside an appartment

Would it be possible to buy the twitch prime arcade and then trade it in for one in LS (therefore save some money)? I have not played gta in quite a while. I know you can trade in apartments, but not sure if that's also the case for businesses/the arcade.

you start the heist in your arcade!

It's not important how close you are to your apartment

I love the look of Wonderama but I think I'll get the Davis. That way I'll be able to keep an eye on Grove st for those pesky ballas.

You can spawn in the arcade after completing the initial mission.

Usually if you get something for free, you trade it in for $0.

The question is how often are you going to play the heist vs. how often are you going to use the master control center.

I want to play the heist various time, what is the more convenient?

La Mesa for sure for running casino heists.  I think it's convenient to have the one place to be able to check all your stuff--but you still have to go to the actual locations for pickups to then deliver.  I have all my business stuff over near Del Perro and the Chumash bunker so it's kind of nice to have a spot on the east side of the map

I haven't done a lot of the prep yet, but it's apparently all over the map... I like La Mesa for the heist stuff but think Vinewood would be pretty good, too, because it's more central.

One advantage that La Mesa has though is you have an aircraft spawn point right outside in the storm drain. But that may not matter if you use a Mk II for everything.

One disadvantage of La Mesa is that the garage door is on the rear of the building. Vinewood has the entrance for the arcade and garage right next to each other at the front.

It would be very cool and also extremely helpful to have pictures showing where are the entrance and the garage for every arcade location.

I’m trying to thinking how I would incorporate the MCT into any grinding, if I decided to do it. I have both of my large warehouses near the La Mesa arcade so would just park the Terrorbyte near them for grinding. I don’t really bother with operating my MC businesses. Being able to buy my Bunker supplies without visiting the Farmhouse is probably the biggest thing. I’m wondering if I need the apartment teleport for that though, or if I just go with the La Mesa to be close to my warehouses.

You can do certain business missions in invite-only sessions through the MCT that would usually only be available in public session. Like source I/E vehicles, for example. It's unclear as of yet, whether that is intentional. But it's something to keep in mind also when choosing location.

EDIT: It got patched!

Since you can buy supplies to all businesses via Arcade, IF your MCs are all in Sandy Shores or further and IF you hang around downtown a lot, it would be wise to choose a location close to whatever place you frequent. For example, if you own La Mesa vehicle warehouse and do lots of I/E, you should perhaps buy the Arcade pretty much next to it so you can just pop in to resupply all your businesses at once.
