APB Posted January 9, 2020 Share Posted January 9, 2020 (edited) Love this car, the duality it offers is f*cking awesome and well worth the price. Seems like it will be quite unique since so many hate it. However like that garbage bag beside it, the handling is trash. It understeers way too much. Acceleration is epic, but the top speed is disappointing as well. I also like this engine, but it feels like I have seen it before somewhere? Other cool details: - Obviously you can remove the spoiler with the spoiler removal glitch. - It has a lot of cool Carbon fiber options. - The headlights can be destroyed in 2 phases. First you can disable the longer LED setup if you smash it head on. In the 2nd round you can take out the outer LEDs. - The rear taillight seems to be indestructible? I only manged to destroy the reversing lights. - I also like that there is an option of a side logo in the small window. - If you drive slow, you're basically in the EV mode all the time. Engine kicks in when you start moving quickly- - If you hold the gas and handbrake it unleashes a similar effect to a launch control. It also builds up boost. Our dear developers just put a taillight dummy flare in the middle of the rear LED strip, and it looks really dumb. Spoiler It looks like they didn't get rid of this habit since Vice City times, but should have actually done it in GTA SA, where a glowing lights texture was introduced, which actually eliminated the need for a visible flare, however they still kept it. Okay, that was the good old RenderWare engine, but why they kept this feature in their own engine? It looks more or less tolerable on old cars, but we are into complicated vehicle optics era right now, and all those LED strips, Divo-like organic LEDs, etc. are not compatible with oldschool lens flare effect. Ir just looks really ridiculous. I'll get mad, if this relic of last century will be kept even in GTA VI, instead of getting rid of it. In GTA VI they must do something similar to the screenshots under the spoiler, where we don't see any lens flare, just a bright and soft self-illuminating light texture, which, I believe, at the same time serves as the light source. At least, a glow around the headlights and taillights in this game repeats their shape. Edit: So aside from looking like an Elegy, it's also about as fast as one. It's got really strong turn in and quick acceleration. It's awd so it bites like an Elegy on rough turns and off throttle maneuvers. Honestly, it's kind of fun to throw around and it sounds really good. But holy hell is it crying for extra gears, and that price tag ain't helping either. It's really a shame.
