Time will tell but she may be my go-to for tighter races. I know the data says different but I prefer the power the R88 has coming out of the corner. Shame about the missing liveries. First was the top speed which seemed really quick. - Again when I used my boost, and the car literally shot up into a wheelie. Its a f*cking rocket!!! Video footage coming in a bit. Dumbledaurus Posted February 27, 2020 Share Posted February 27, 2020 Probably my 2nd ever visit to this forum only because I have a question I'm making a race designed for F1 cars but i've just found I can't select the default car to be an F1 car, they don't appear under super or sports or whatever. Is this something that will change soon? Predictably since its the first day of release I can't find anything online about it Also will other F1 cars be added to the game? You'll get it. A few years ago I started playing other racing games like Driveclub and GT Sport and that taught me a lot about lines and cornering and it made racing in GTA a cakewalk. My best advice for OWR is to worry most about not damaging the car, play it safe and use hard tires so you won't have to pit as often. As for assholes driving the opposite way, get on mic and try to get other racers to kick them. Hopefully when they hype dies down the trolls will move back to FR and other modes. So many poor sports and petulant children play this game and it's never more apparent than when a new racing mode comes out. I don't think Livery Merging will work... one of the R88 we brought online yesterday had the Dusche Gold liveries and as soon as it was stored in MOC the livery vanished. This seems to be something where they changed something with Liveries where the game knows if you've unlocked it or not, it's not like other hidden liveries that we can get. Never seen this happen. It's like a Livery Blacklist. **Edit: after moving it to the Garage from the MOC the Livery returned. Sorry for the confusion. There is something about the MOC that made it disappear. After I made that post I called out a Faggio to push my R88 from the MOC to the garage and the Livery was back on it in the garage.. I haven't tried racing an F1 car with Normal F1 wheels so I can't do any comparisons but the amount of bumps on some of the tracks sends the car into huge revs like it's curb boosting with Bennys on it.. I'll just have to use the ones I feel are closest, and try to ignore as much as possible things like the chassis/engine and tire manufacturers branding.. we could do with a white Chepalle seeing as they use it prominently in so many liveries. My 3 R88's.. 1984/5 Alfa Romeo/Benetton (Max. Downforce) 1982 McLaren MP4/1b (no nose wing) (Min. Downforce) It hasn't fallen off.. I restarted the game and they popped up. I've been playing Gran Turismo most of my life and don't need any help with the driving part. Thank you, though.
