I noticed that the F1 cars in GTA have some sort of boosting system or KERS. If you brake, or let go of the gass you will get an extremely high boost with the nitro sound if you press the gas paddle. This brings the car to 100 in 1,2 seconds, and it's absolutely mindblowing. I need this F1 in my life.

+1 for the youtuber using Burnout 2: Point of Impact music.

For me to buy and upgrade this thing requires the purchase of a Great White Shark Card, which costs $50.

Is this worth $50 ??

Nothing in this game is worth $50 IMO.

The tyre issue is a Scripthook error

This thing is insanly fast. 'Like crap in pants' fast. Some modder spawned it, i kept thinking this can't be real this speed is too much xD. If this is part of a new racing mode then it's gonna be the most messy racing we will ever have in this game. People won't be able to handle it hehe. But i'm very happy we got a F1 car in GTAV its freakin awesome.

top speed on fivem is 120 mph, if you use KERS it's 170+

also if you hit a wall *really* hard ALL panels fall off

like, all of them, you're left with a chassis and wheels

and now on something completely different - i really hope tyre wear system does not work in freemode, with a skilled driver this thing is literally uncatchable by anything but itself and it would be a real shame if your tyres could just pop from wear in the middle of a chase

Value is relative. I'm sure a trust fund kid wouldn't bat an eye.

It isn't a scripthook error. On the previous page, I even posted a picture of an actual PR4 in a GTA Online race, and it aldo had the same error.

This is a bug with the official car.

What's this tire wear feature I hear about? Is there footage of it in action, or someone here knows how it works? I'm quite curious about that

Basically, before a race (which this and the Ocelot R88 will have exclusive ones) you'll be able to choose between soft tyres (best grip but degrade fast), hard tyres (worst grip but degrade slowly) or something in the middle.

If your wheels degrade, you will lose grip and eventually your tyres will blow up. Thankfully, these specific races will have pit stops for your car to be repaired.

Here's a better explanation, from 10:50 to the end of the vid:

Yes. Here's the video.

The race track is custom made through Creator.

I don't know man, seems fishy. They are releasing open wheeler races alongside the cars, so it makes no sense that these are available in creator already by legit means.

It isn't as fishy as you may think it is.

Why you're doubting its legitemacy is because of two things that crosses each other: tunables and Social Club races.

Tunables are the clockwork that enable and disable specific content in GTA Online. This includes the Formula 1 cars and the option to make our own races in the Creator - this is also why FoxySnaps could pre-create Survivals, even though it wasn't available to the public. Lazy programming, basically.

Social Club races however, needs to be downloaded to your game first, which you can't normally do. This is why we can never pre-play Rockstar created races, no matter what tunable you enable with cheats.

What the host of this race did, was to enable the tunable that allows you to make and create custom races with the Formula cars (through cheats) - this is furder evidenced in the tyre wear option in the Vehicle Selection menu, which is exclusive to the Open-Wheel Races.

The race is as legit as it can be. In fact, if you're on PC, you can bookmark the job HERE if you really wish to test the cars and the track out, before they're released.

Well that sucks. In this case I'm curious on why the other guy stated this is a ScriptHook Error.

He was referencing to why the left front tyre was way larger than the right front tyre.

This is not a scripthook error - ScriptHook has no direct link to the models of vehicles at all. It is, unfortunately, a fact that the official PR4 has this wheel bug.

Me neither, it's actually quite clever ngl.

Also I wish that there was a similar system for Hotring Sabre races too (optional of course).

There is one sliver of hope left - when you load up the car in FiveM, the character clips very heavily trough the model and the entering animation is generally awful - this gives me hope these cars will receive some kind of unique treatment to mitigate these issues, same for tyre size

Well, you can't always trust FiveM in terms of animations, but tweaks to cars before they're released has never happened - where the Jester Classic is the only unique exception. Rockstar needs to drop a downloadable update to fix the tyre bug, as it cannot be fixed with background scripts or tunables... which sucks.
