Scottiedog123 Posted January 7, 2020 Share Posted January 7, 2020 Ok I'll appreciate first.. I appreciate the shiny new bodywork, and some of the customisation. The new wheels/tires, and the way they look/work, the driving experience is nice. Decent speed/handling. But.. now I'll hate. It's clear with a lot of the recent vehicles that corners are getting cut. I imagine it may be a necessary evil, but I can't stand it when it's at this level.. The stuff lurking beneath the body of this truck is hideous, and not much attempt to hide it. Things like the Paragon R, Novak, Rebla, got a nice new big engine cover which conveniently fill most of engine bay, therefore avoiding full detail modelling. I get that, at this stage with a new game the development priority, I don't mind. They can be fully finished for VI. (With new interiors ) But this one.. NO. I was shocked when the hood came off. I normally open hood straight away when buying a vehicle but forgot to here, I had already become tired of the hideous looking diffs and most of the chassis that you can see, but when the hood came off.. that was it. Fk off with that sh*t. It's so horrible I'll put it in a spoiler so people aren't forced to see it. What a fkin mess! There's day one cars with much better details, that also don't hurt my eyes. Shame. It's got a lot of good things going for it.. just feels really half finished. ↓↓ Close enough! Zader Posted February 2, 2020 Share Posted February 2, 2020 Big fan of my newest monster truck. Got it from the wheel, did it up, instantly forgot it. Thing is a big blast to drive around, it tumbles like the twin towers whenever I go over a few bumps in quick succession, really throws its weight around and just rolls like a hamster in a ball. Well, if it’s based on the Arctic truck conversion then it is indeed a 3.0. I suppose if you’d like to believe that it’s a highly modified Tacoma/Hilux then perhaps it could be a V8. But V8s are not offered from Toyota in they’re small/mid size trucks. (At least in North America. Can’t speak for anything over seas) Only the Tundra or whatever equivalent offers the 8. And here we don’t have mid size toyotas with v8s. But I’ll admit I’m not up with the whole GTA lore thingy or whatever. My observation was meant more towards rockstar making a vehicle clearly based off an Arctic build and then adding a different motor. But I understand anything’s possible in the GTAverse.
