I love this little car. The front actually looks a bit like a Clio Mk2 Ph1 which I am grateful for. If you look from the front  the arrangement is the same. From other angles I spot a little Saxo here and a little Punto there. Sorry for the pictures. When I'll have time I will upload better pictures.

Because OP created threads for almost all new cars back when there was little to no information about them, and then he didn't bother to update most of his threads, leaving them outside the forum standards and guide lines.

 

In this thread this is inexcusable because this car is available from day one and he could at least bother to take some in game pictures and gather more information about it.

 

And when he caught flack for it in another appreciation thread, he just called them trolls and blocked them.

 

But I will be very honest here: The guidelines aren't enforced(and I personally don't think they should be) so I wouldn't blame only him.

 

Additionally, there aren't many folks here posting pictures which is sad because this car has tons of option to create you own build, and we could see other builds and get more inspiration.

Could it be because the Uno was sold in Europe market, but my dream is that they introduce the Gol Trend G5 to recreate the mine, saddly its a regional car and doesnt exists in other continents. I can conform with the Polo

 

But take for sure that if they introduce more cars that we can see in our streets, they will gain popularity among us

HAS amazing driving physics. The team is still working on tire physics and have yet to release the Sciracco as a result. Some S3 content has been released though.

 

I thought that car was mostly Peugeot? 

 

On topic: I've only ever heard of the Astra this car is based on through some racing games and online British friends. It seems Rockstar parodied this vehicle well.

Yep, such is underrated the existence in GTA of the wagons, low-end hatches, old/retro sedans and affordable coupes, this topic deserves a better attention ... because this type of car is usually someone's first ride, or even popular ride in its days, since the Prairie got new parts and liveries ... i hope some of those cars gets attention again.

 

Concerning South America ... Fiats such as the Palio, Uno, Tempra and Marea, many of those Opel/GM/Chevrolet rides until 2012, Peugeot such as the 106/206+/307 era, VW such as the Golf and Polo and etc ... were also produced in the Europe and guess what ... some of the cars of the list above already had its production-run finished (some a hell of a time ago) but still way more popular than their substitutes (thanks to many factors).

 

I won't lie ... i personally thought the Asbo would only being a hit among fellow SA players since it still at large as a affordable uncommon/common car found around here.

 

My other tuned Asbo, based on my early Corsa from NFSU2, this car is more of a tuner than many of those street tuner rides introduced in some GTA updates.

besides the polo harlequin livery , it has the Polo frontlight and the grande punto´s Taillights ...

but yeah , it´s definitely an Opel corsa

Mate that is the cleanest looking small tuner I've seen. My Corsa on underground 2 looks like this, so blessed to have had a Corsa for my first car irl

Honestly for me this is best car in DLC, i always wanted an Opel Corsa C ingame but i guess it will be never added.

But when i install Update, i cant belive they added an Corsa C! It was surprised!
I enjoy driving it and its currently my favorite compact car. Better than Supercars.

I made my Grandfathers car (even though it has 5 door version of it)

I've grown up liking Vauxhall's and generally favouring them over fords (was always more of a GM guy but like fords aswell) but THIS wouldn't be my choice, although I totally understand the thinking behind adding this and it does its job well. 

I didn't want to like this car, (I see them and their type on a daily basis, and I generally despise them and their occupants).. and i don't.

I gave it a go but I don't find it a buzz to drive.. like an Issi sport or Brioso or even a regular Blista.

I do appreciate the effort put into it though and I can see it's popularity. Gives me hope for the same sort of quality delivered in some real hot hatches, but they would need appropriate dynamics also.

 

Painting stock wheels didn't seem to work on this.

Stole one of these during the second Yung Amateur (or whatever his name was) mission. It's a fun little car to screw around in but not something I can justify a garage space for. If we got 27 like last year then sure I could give one to this, but we only got 10 spots so oh well. 

 

Yeah I kinda beat the hell out of it but, hey it got the job done.

This is a car which has been a long time coming, given R* North's British heritage! I'm also extremely happy that recent updates to the game have been adding British-themed vehicles, from the Stafford in After Hours, then the Dynasty in Diamond Resort, and now the Asbo; if GTA ever returns to London (the eternal pipe-dream of the fanbase ), then this is a vehicle I could see showing up there.

 

This also opens up a lot of possibilities regarding other Vauxhall/Opel cars receiving lookalikes in the GTA series; perhaps we could see an Asbo Classic based on the Vauxhall Nova/Corsa A somewhere down the line?

The cars better be right hand drive though. It would look real funny to see cars driving on the right in London.

I wasn´t really trying to make a real life replica, i just wanted a clean looking one. Red because a real life friends first car was a red corsa. Dude is over 2m high, so it was always a pretty funny sight seeing him leave is cute little car.
