Although I didn't based my build in any real life counterpart, I think mine turned out quite solid on those colors.

I really love the MK II Retinue, I could do with mudflaps and rally lights to go on the front grille, but it's still an incredibly fun car to drive and utterly devastating off-road

The relatively high centre of mass for the car does make it a handful for any rough trails, but it's incredibly quick in the Sports Classics class once you've mastered the body roll.

 

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one keeping it clean and running the RS Watanabe wheels. Mine has 24 wins and two losses to her name, all on dirt trails with stock suspension, because I like the stock stance of the car

Because I don't know anywhere better to say this, it feels like this car is the elimination game version of the Atlanta Falcons. It's been in two games already (Diamond Casino Heist Vehicles and Diamond Casino Heist Getaway Vehicles), been a contender or a leader in both games, only to come up just short every time.

 I recently bought a fourth one of these (and will probably buy more). It's just really nice to have cars in the game that don't have huge engines, suffer from random spin-outs and are as comfortable off-road as they are on the tarmac

The engine's air filter setup looks very weird (four individual air filters), but I still love the car nonetheless ❤

This is probably my 2nd favourite car in the whole game. Mamba being top

I feel like i would like it more if it wasnt required to use the ridiculous camber to have decent handling.

I think a car like the Mkll is most beautiful,most classy when left, stock. In attempts to improve the look you end up coming off as a dim-witted ricer who has no taste in classic compact cars from the 80s and 90s.I always found it satisfying imagine a business man or your every day joe driving the streets of 1990s LA or London in a energetic yet interestingly boring escort,capri, or any compact ford car. It doesnt have the brutality of a lotus carlton, but not the fall on your face charater-lessness of japense cars of the time. You could fling around the cue cars with their nippy handling and youthful engine. In all honesty I TRULLY believe this car looks best as stock as possible in black with chrome wheels, perferably parked outside a suburban home, or a office building.

My primary character has four and my secondary has six of them, but I probably would still try to win it from the podium

 

I set out to have some in my personal favourite colour schemes and some in iconic colour schemes (white on gold, white on blue and red on silver/ McRae), all of them similarly setup as below; nothing too extravagant. I set them up to closely the resemble Group IV Escorts because they regularly run dirt trails north of Los Santos

After having just explained to my friend that I had eight of these in one garage, I decided to let my character have a go at the "lucky" wheel;

I forgot about this thing and I wish it had stayed that way. Ticket #147-B in my line of disappointing cars Rockstar has added. Mudflaps and rally fogs were all it needed, and I truly cannot find a reason why they weren’t included other than sheer laziness. The OG Retinue was a masterpiece and this deserves the same. C’mon.

The one that was won last week has been tuned and run; (brownie points available if you recognise the colour scheme )

 

 

Also, the garage order was fixed (the pink one was bought ahead of the LS Tuners update, to tune and test in the car meet space);

 

 

And because the "lucky" wheel was refilled with the same car this week ;

 

 

I fully blame Mach1bud, who mentioned buying fifty of the same car :s At this point, I think I might need to seek medical advice ._.'
