JumpingKentFlash
Encountered a bug: I accidentally put my Evergreen Moonshine on tap in the bar. Now I can’t buy mash, since it’s greyed out. I can add all kinds of flavours to a moonshine that doesn’t exist though. I don’t know how to get it back up and running.

Zalwig
I don´t know, but there are these rescue the buyer events, that are like the trader raid events, so maybe they are more rare with the perk.

Bakkerbaard
Just to double check before I go and punch buttons to see if I can do it myself. I gather from @JumpingKentFlash's post at the top there you can put flavoured moonshine on tap. I need to chug my own average or higher swill for a daily, I've already got the first upgrade (technically not making weak shine anymore), but I'm still serving weak. So I have to put the average on tap first somehow, yes?

No. I think the previous poster was just suffering one of the various moonshine glitches. Normally, once you buy the mash the strength of that moonshine will be available at the tap behind the bar immediately. The barrels off on the side always have weak moonshine. Once the flavoring reaches full strength the taps behind the bar will have the new flavor as well. Bakkerbaard
Yeah. I think I tried at the bar, but it may be the Korsakoff talking. I'll double check the bar when I'm on that character again. The one I'm playing now immediately got the average shine after the upgrade just now. If I did try the bar it's probably the same bug.

I did not know it was the flavoring reaching "full strength" (that is what that bar is?) that made it on the tap. I thought it just took 4 bottles or so being flavored (which is about as long as "full strength", I guess )

I thought it just took 4 bottles or so being flavored (which is about as long as "full strength", I guess ) The difference would be: You could wait until the new buyer list was presented before adding a flavoring, or even change the flavor before the current batch is complete. Ryan5252
Here's a tip I learned for moonshine deliveries; when you start off keep the pace slow, draw your weapon and aim ahead. The horses will follow the highlighted path and maintain the same pace. Obviously you'll need to take over manually for road blocks, train tracks, rivers etc but generally it works quite well. Leftover Pizza
After finding the Poison Poppy recipe, I created a batch without doing bootlegger missions, so I paid the full $50 for the mash, waited 48 minutes for it to be ready. Then started the delivery going from Tall Trees shack to McFarlane, fending off the usual roadblock at the river crossing and dealt with 5 waves of agents attacking along the road. Drove the wagon like a nanny and the only damage done was by them agents. In the end I delivered 19/20 bottles and instead of the $247,50 payout, I got $108,27 for it. One broken bottle cost me $139,23. So, after paying $50 for the mash, I earned $58,27 for the whole batch of Poison Poppy's Moonshine. I'm not even calculating the expense of ammo and gun oil in. I really don't know how Rockstar justifies a reduction in payout like this. But one thing is sure, I'm not touching the role again, till it's fixed. What grinds my gears the most is that apparently no one at Rockstar even thought this is a bit too harsh while testing it. IF they even tested it in the first place. Moonshiner is the most broken messed up role I've seen so far. Completed batches disappearing, black infinite loading screens, bootleggers missions not registering as completed daily challenges, shacks no longer being yours, unable to enter your shack or there's no one inside. If the Beta tag was still on this game they'd have an excuse for this mess. If this is what Rockstar is able to deliver to us and should last us months of gameplay, this game is better off dead. I could only see them fixing such bugs with a background update, so I don't understand why the support agent said it's "fixed", unless he meant the developers came up with a fix and planning to publish it tomorrow. OrionSR
Do the moonshine customers consistently request a specific flavor? Are they at a consistent location for a specific shack? Has the distance to each location been measured? I'd like to choose a recipe that is likely to be short with good routes around the roadblocks, or farther when distance is a requirement for a role challenge. Update: Do the moonshine customers consistently request a specific flavor? No. Are they at a consistent location for a specific shack? No. Has the distance to each location been measured? Not much point when there's no choice, and there doesn't appear to be an accurate measure outside of a daily challenge. Leftover Pizza
Has anyone ever been able to deliver a 20/20 batch and got the full payment? No matter how safe you ride the wagon, the revenue agents seem to always hit a jug and break it. I know I delivered 20/20 once, but didn’t get the promised 247,50, but 238. Crispy isn’t taking any cuts, nor is Talks Too Much. I have the feeling it’s totally random how much the damage of a batch will be. I’ve been reduced about 90 for one bottle earlier today and 139 for another later today. Why are we always beta testing this sh*t? kcole4001

Jason
Here's how to deal with checkpoints: Stop the wagon before you reach it, jump off and kill them all, ezpz. They're aiming for you, not the wagon. kcole4001

They're aiming for you, not the wagon. I don't even do that. I slow for the checkpoint. In the off chance I don't get waved through, I stop all the way at the most forward spot I can on the yellow marker. In the off chance that they find something, and don't wave me through, I bolt. I don't focus on the agents, just getting out of there. Once out of range, I slow back down, grab the shotgun, and by holding the aim button, let the horses steer. As soon as the one chasing pop up, I shoot their horse before they get a chance to do anything (Shotgun has a max of ~40 meters/130 feet of range). Most I ever lost doing this was one bottle. When I tested to find the price drops I had to wait outside the drop off location and destroy bottles myself. It is seriously not that hard of a mission. The delivery driver kicks it off the truck then throws it over your fence. One bottle broke, covering all the rest in shampoo. What do you do? Spoiler You call Amazon and get a complete refund, get to keep the existing bottles, and a new box of shampoo shipped to your door. Welcome to the world of business. I am sorry, but that’s a lame excuse and you know it. For someone who has sheets on everything, produce one for damaged deliveries. I bet you can’t, because it seems random. Same moonshine, same buyer, same damage, $139 reduction at one sale, $90 at the next. Start explaining. BTW, I know how to deliver a batch carefully. Another thing. I bring 19 bottles instead of 20 and the buyer offers less than half price? f*ck you, I’m taking it all back again and sell it to someone else at a 20% reduction. Welcome to the world of business. Ah yea those guys, just gotta be quick I guess, think they've nicked a bottle of mine once or twice but generally I've been able to pick them off early with PiB. Not getting the full payment sounds like Rockstar being Rockstar though but don't worry they'll put out a potential fix in a patch in a few months. I've probably had more trouble honestly with driving through the checkpoints at times, they can be quite narrow with the crates on either side. Also every now and then you'll cross a bridge (speed doesn't matter) and you'll damage the bottles, which is... wat. Leftover Pizza
