Calumet River Treasure map won't give reward.

I got this treasure map and found the lockbox. When I opened it to claim the reward, the yellow radius on the map disappeared, but I got no xp or anything for the reward. When I looked in my satchel, the map was still there. When I opened it again, I got the yellow search zone radius, found the lockbox in a different location. Again, when I opened it to claim the reward, no reward whatsoever & the map is still in my satchel. Has anyone else gotten around this problem?
