Been out of the GTA world for years. Any real leaks about VI?

Basically the title, i've been out of the GTA world for a couple of years, and recently i began to wonder about VI, if there was any news, leaks, etc. only to find tons of "leaks" without any luck to find any real trustworthy info about it.

 

So, is there anything that we know about GTA VI or we're still years away from it?.

We have no way of telling which leaks are real or not until we get some information from Rockstar themselves. So I'd say we're still some time away from it.

If you use common sense it will be Vice City from the 70ies to the 80ies and to the present. Something never seen and really huge. Inspired by Narcos.

And common sense should tell you, that an announcement is not so far away. GTA 6 is in the testing phase now and playable, thats for sure.:)

Quick answer is no. There hasn't been anything from what I've seen in terms of potential leaks that seem to suggest to be true or accurate.

 

A lot of what is out are basically guesses or some guys fanfic story.

I will not trust some of those leaks, however a bit could be true and lucky but I feel as if some of those ideals came from here. Example. Mutiple eras.

Nobody really knows but if we go off the leaks so far the game will be set in Vice City and maybe another city

There is the "Project America's" leak, which has had somewhat been backed up by code found in the PC version of RDR 2. But then again it's all to be taken with a grain of salt. We've got no way of knowing what's legit and what's fake until the game is announce.

Project Americas seems very legit to me. There must be some real leaks by now. A company such as R* can´t keep it all secret. The problems is to find out which one is the real deal. And for me it´s Project Americas.

We actually know more than we think. You can read about it here. Most of the legit leaks just don't give us enough, or really tell us anything. Kinda' like a jigsaw, you only really begin to see a picture when you get more and more pieces. But I believe with what we have found, some good guesses can be made. Some are still up for debate, but they just look like they fit.

I'm not hype yet because I'm here bored waiting the game for six years. Just wish we can at least know that the game exist.

It´s normal. I´m really hyped if ROCKSTAR announce something, so we have all the facts and 100% sure about it.

Yesterday there was a map leaked on the main GTA VI leaks and speculation thread that got taken down not long after it appeared. Does anybody know anything more about this? It was a map of Vice City as well as another city plus a big part of the state of Florida, including “Cape Carnival”, towns, islands, Everglades, and much more. It was an awesome map and the fact that it got taken down so quickly makes me wonder if there was something to it. I asked about it in the thread but I couldn’t get anyone to respond to my question. Have you guys seen it or heard anything about it?

Nothing is confirmed because the game is unannounced. 

 

But the general consensus is surrounding Vice City and South America, across all 'leaks', so I will take that as a reliable bit of information.

 

If you want to believe that about VC, then two things in my eyes are a guarantee.

 

• Cocaine/Drugs will be the central theme like money was in V.
• It will take place in the past. Or at least some of it will, in order for them to re-deliver the iconic vibe of the first game.

Says, that he's environment artist and he doesn't know anything about the rest but somehow he knows, that every other leak is not legit. Not to mention, that he gave so many details, that he would be tracked down in few minutes. Fake.

The mods wouldn’t be so quick to delete a map that’s fake so maybe it was actually legit. The pastebin leak from last year did suggest that most of Florida and the Southeastern regions of America will be featured. It’s such a shame that I didn’t get a chance to look at it.

IDK I haven't seen it in the other thread before. If it's the same one then yes, it's clearly fanmade. The old VC logo and the wall of text... Would be more believeable without it.

It's pretty obvious they aren't going to do the ENTIRE state of Florida. That would make no sense at all imo.
