Well worth the time....

Anyway on-topic, good for Pat, and to all the people bitching about how he spent his time, the dude has a job, YT is also a job for him, and he seems to be doing alright for himself irl. Also, if I'm not mistaken, he's also in his early 20s. Chill guys, and let the dude spend his time how he wants to.

Jesus, this topic was derailed very badly, and I agree with @J-Scott-D, this thread is competing with the Agatha Baker Appreciation Thread for weirdest topic in recent times in my books.

It actually got weirder after my post, lol.

I'm not a subscriber to his channel, but I used to watch his vehicle reviews and livestreams from time to time.

His playing style is nowhere near mine, but I always thought his heart was in the right place and he enjoys helping other players, just like I do.

I remember his fame came with a price, the poor guy was getting plenty of Orbital Cannon hits. That had to slow down his money making.

If I'm not mistaken, he buys pretty much everything that is weaponized so he can review it. Like all of the Arena Wars vehicles. :O That was a sacrifice made for his subs.

Wait wait wait --- that's not what's happening here from my point of view. I praise the legitimacy if it is true. I'm saying that you make money to spend it, and if you don't spend it, that doesn't make sense. Walking away from this game with money in the bank makes no sense.

I mean, if I was this guy, I'd be using the orbital cannon every chance I could. At 6 years I have no idea how someone can still want to stack racks in this game.

I agree with a billion but disagree with 100 million. I want to be able to play whatever I want whenever I want without having to worry about making a lot of money so I always keep at least 100 million to be able to buy anything I want in dlcs. I also keep that money incase I stop playing and a dlc or 2 drops in that time. I hated that new content was locked to public sessions where a**holes were blowing me up so I stopped playing just after Further Adventures in Finance and Felony came out and didn't start properly playing again the day gunrunning came out and in that time I earned no money and 4 dlcs dropped but I only had 20 million saved so I couldn't buy a lot of that content and had to do a lot of boring grinding until I got a lot of money from a money glitch but if I did have 100 million saved like I do now I could have bought anything I wanted and that time I spent grinding I could have spent doing contact missions, LTS or whatever else I wanted. Same with the casino dlc I spent 25+ million on that and if I didn't have all this money saved up I would have been forced to grind after it was announced or had to wait to buy a lot of the new stuff but with having savings I bought everything I wanted and then just slowly earned it all back over the last few months taking advantage of 2x money on stuff I enjoyed doing.

I don't know. I spend until it's gone, but then it's all just stored in my garages. If I'm ever low on cash, which only happens if I don't feel like doing anything, since it's very easy to earn millions in one day in this game now, I just walk though my garages and sell the three things I haven't driven in a year.

What classes as Legit?

I'd say by just playing the game as is without looking on YT/internet specifically for "glitches/hacks/workarounds/cheats".

If by chance you're playing the game and happen to stumble across something that can be extorted or exploited, then by all means. You lucky duck, you. However, 99% of those who participate in cheating are doing so by willingly searching for someone else who already has and then copying them. Then acting like it's an accomplishment and pretending it makes them superior to anyone who doesn't follow with the mindless herd of sheep.

I mean, sure, it's cool to see people enjoying this game but throwing around the amount of virtual money you have really isn't all that impressive. It is quite the virginity shield though, so if that's what they're going for then they're doing a fantastic job.

You're right! It is all about being a criminal. So I stole my game copy from the shop. Well, when I say I did in fact I got my mate to from the charity shop his sister works in.

I'm going to assume this person isnt old enough to comprehend that full grown adults, married, divorced with adult kids probably older than they are actually play this game so the virginity is clearly strong with them.

Mad at the internet 😤😤😤

The joke went right over your head, didn’t it? I’ll be sure to use small words so you’ll be sure to understand.

Like I implied with the post I made before, the flexing of fictional currency is pretty silly and nothing to really brag about. The Professional is a prime example of a nobody who’s put on a pedestal for a monumentally pointless reason.

He isn’t the first person to hit 1 Billion GTA$, he won’t be the last and he’s pretty depressing to examine. Just watching his streams and videos you can tell he has next to no social life which is pretty sad. All that time he spent grinding missions over and over and never purchasing anything could’ve gone into life experiences - but that can be said about any game experience I suppose, but most of us know when to back away.

That's your opinion.

How what he is doing affects your life or well being is beyond me.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't know who you are and cares none of what your obsession is, which we all clearly see in your comment.

When did I ever suggest that he’s done anything to me? When did I suggest I have an obsession with him? Two hardly-winded comments on a forum indicate such a thing? God forbid I find someone pathetic.

Big brain hours amirite. You seem pretty angry at the internet and you’ve begun projecting. Hmu when you figure all of that out my dude, clearly too intelligent for me.

All there for you to read.

Again.

Since you're not that great with memories, recall and self critique.

You actually watched his streams to draw your own conclusions about how he lives his life not yours and how in your judgment he is a (nobody) and has (no social life).... Which is ridiculously funny, because if you had one you wouldn't be watching his streams over and over again....

But that's OK, I'll let you complete the knot, let me know if you need more rope.

I’m not sure how I could form an opinion on his content if I don’t observe it. In order to have an opinion on anything you need to be subjected to it and then observe it. I initially found his content when looking for efficient ways to make money with the in game businesses, but upon watching a bit of his streams I was able to see how depressing his content is. You can tell a lot about a person by their mannerisms, and considering he goes into detail about how he spends an unusual amount of time playing the game it’s easy to draw the conclusion that he’s an introvert.

Still, I’d love some evidence as to when I said he personally effected me and when I said that I’m obsessed with him. If you can’t provide evidence for me doing such a thing then your argument is fallacious.

Your metaphor is pretty stupid, lol. Sounds like white knighting to me my dude.

Aaannndd it got even more weird.

You guys need to stop fighting over some ideal whether the $1B goal is a waste of time or whatever the hell, it’s a game, a piece of entertainment, and how someone chooses to enjoy it is their business. If someone decides to make this their goal, it’s a milestone to them, and to whoever considers it an accomplishment. There’s nothing wrong with doing a pointless task in a video game if it’s worth it to you, and nobody can really devalue that for you. It’s stupid to.

Wow, just wow.

It's funny how this community bitches all the time about scum like MrTossForTheBin and Sernanhoe (and rightfully so) but when an actually decent YouTuber comes up, everyone goes straight after him, nitpicking anything to justify hating him, like his voice or appearance, calling him names, harassing him, etc.

Like, what gives? Do you guys want actually decent YouTube creators or not? Even if you think that grinding whatever ammount of money on this game is a waste of time or not, at the very least you should give him kudos for keeping it real, being honest, helpful and straight to the point (kinda) and not becoming another generic clickbaiter POS.

He’s definitely one of the better GTA Online youtubers and truly seems like a good kid who takes pride in working hard to figure out strategies that are efficient and yield max profit/gain. I admire his dedication and effort to help others.

You really get to see people’s insecurities shine through when they pick on someone who truly isn’t bothering anyone.

Don’t be so stubborn, I never said anything about the real world. It’s clear I’m speaking only about the game. I just feel like it’s playing into the "rebel" side of things if you go beyond the legit ways to earn money, especially if you don’t want to always grind and that ‘illegitimate’ money isn’t used for griefing or gaining an unfair advantage.

Same here, I don't have an issue with people glitching their money or whatever (and tbh, I can't blame them) as long as they respect the grind of other players.

If they glitched all their money/buy shark cards then what is there for them to do in the game but pester other players that grind legitimately?

Because they don’t need to earn money.

I had some idiot that ruined a peaceful lobby try and tell me they needed the RP gained from blowing up my 840,000 coke sale to level up.

I suggested to them there are better ways to earn RP and money with it and they said they had x amount of money and didn’t need to grind.

Why play?

Whats the point?

Don't generalize us. I pretty much have the means to buy everything I want in the game, yet I'm still here. I haven't killed another player, let alone joined a public lobby in almost a year. You could ask the professional the same thing.

Personally I wouldn’t have a reason to play...I tend to catch up buy everything and then take a huge break.

im gonna stick around this time for the Heists though as I own everything once again and am sitting on 39.5m

If one shark card for 8m costs £64.99 or $100 then given 125 x 8000,000 = 1000,000,000

we must conclude that we need to add up $100 x 125 = 12,500

or £64.99 x 125 = £8,123.75

I am not sure where you got $100 from.

The joke was R* would only pay you $100 for getting to a billion, because they’re cheap, like their p2p servers and “duct tape” approach to patching bugs.

I still love GTA Online though, despite its horrendous flaws.
