Thanks, I assumed that mobo is the best for an i7-4960X. Most of the builds I see from others with that CPU comes with that mobo.

And the i7-4930K? Which mobo is the best for that CPU?

That's probably the best for all of the LGA2011 processors.

I got a question, I was thinking about using a liquid cooling system for my computer and I was wondering if there's anything I need to know before making the plunge? Do I have to change the water out?

A closed liquid cooler such as the Corsair H60 is maintenance free. The liquid inside should last a few years before it starts to go off. The things to look out for when buying a liquid cooler is making sure the radiator will fit. What case do you have and is it a closed cooler you want?

Which cooler are you interested in if I may ask?

Most of the off-shelf water cooling solutions are unimpressive.

The off-the-shelf kits are decent. I'm a fan of the AIO ones because the seem to degrade less in performance over time than air ones and look neater, but the lack of additional performance for the cost is hard to dispute.

  • 2 weeks later...

I found a brand new PSU (on ebay) for my monitor and I was wondering whether a PSU made in the US would work here (in Europe). I am assuming it would since the power rating on the back of the monitor says "AC 100-240V, 50-60 Hz, 1.0A", so I imagine monitor PSUs are identical across countries since they can manage a range of voltages and frequencies.

Would Grand Theft Auto IV run 'smoothly' on my iMac through Bootcamp?

Specifications are shown below.

LOL I have 1st Gen 2010 Intel i3 380m processor, 1st gen Intel HD Graphics 2010 It still pretty decent it take 30-35 secs to shut down, 1 min to startup, Applications take 5-10 secs to start laptop was brought late 2011 but What your thoughts on the processor handling 2013/2014 software I thinking about buying a new Laptop sometime this year I want laptop that fast, able to play games, editing but under $900 though

Lol. Lots of PC parts I wanted to order are not available the upcoming days, maybe even weeks :p

Good for me as I can save more money. Is a Cooler Master V550S still good enough in combination with an i7-4930, GTX780 and Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3, 16GB 1600MHz and 2 HDD?

There's really no point in going LGA2011 for anything other than graphic design or 3D modelling/animation. It's no faster in the real world than LGA1150 in most applications and you'd be better off with a 780Ti and a huge (~1GB) SSD instead.

But you should be okay in terms of power.

Uninstall and reinstall. Chrome and variants thereof tend to be the most stable.

It's hard to define which browser would be best - just use whatever appeals to you the most. I still use the long-abandoned presto-based Opera (newer versions are based on Chromium). It's definitely not the fastest not the most reliable browser out there, but... well, I just find it the most user-friendly, and it has every feature I need out of the box. ;)

It looks like an extension, so you can fit the card in larger cases. Its more evident in your first example where it shows two cards of different sizes.

So I have an HTC Sensation XE, with a normal SIM card, and I just bought a new LG G2 with a new micro SIM card.

How do I get the contacts from my old SIM card onto my new SIM card, seeing that they differ in kind of card (SIM and Micro SIM)?

In you contacts, there should be an option somewhere to export all your contacts. Once you've saved it all to a file, bluetooth it over to your new phone then go to import contacts

Can I update a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini to Android 4.0 or higher?

I actually have a nVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti, I'm about to buy another Video Card this year.
I'm not planning on selling my 550 Ti, because I'm afraid of getting a new video card then after some months it have some defect or stuff, I want to have it as a reserve.
Well, I live in Brazil, my budget is 550 in Brazilian Real.
I'm thinking of buying a HD 7850, because I want to upgrade my VGA because there are many new games coming consuming even more GPU Processing, and my actual 550 Ti, is starting not to handle them that good.
So, I'm wondering...
As 7850 has same performance of a 750 Ti, which I was planning on bought; but it's not released in my country and It'll be more expensive than the AMD one.
Is it worth to upgrade from a 550 Ti to a 7850?
Is it risky to sell my 550 Ti to help in the budget to buy an even better VGA, like a 7900 Series or a R9 or some of nVidia?
What's the best option?

HD7850 is far better than GTX550Ti. It's a good upgrade.

Could you run recent games on maximum settings on a $1000 PC (budget only for parts)? What about in 1080p?

I'm thinking of buying a new PC somewhere in that price range (the actual currency would be euro, but with taxes my budget would reduce to that amount in dollars) and I'm interested how well I could run games with a computer like that. I'm not looking for high frame rates. 60 or even 30 FPS would be enough. 1080p is not necessarily a requirement but it would be nice as well.

Most of the games would run decently maxed out @ 1080p.

What country are you from?
