Missing dialogue during dates?

Hi, for a long time I haven’t been bothered by this strange issue, until now. The issue being that there’s no dialogue at all during the entire journey after picking up a character after calling them to hang out. 

 

There’s the initial conversation of “hey, nice car.” or “are these pants new?” but nothing after that. Even after being prompted to drive the character back home. 

 

Are there any known fixes for this? I miss the conversations during car drives :c 

 

P.S. I’m playing on the backwards compatible version on the Xbox One S (2TB) and the disc is from the complete edition of the game.

There's only a certain number of different dialogues for each character and they don't repeat, so if it's just that you've already heard all of them silence is normal after that.

 

Also, while most of the time the dialogue plays when you pick them up on the way to the activity, sometimes it's supposed to play after the activity on the way home instead. So to make sure you're not getting one you have to do the whole date (and also if it doesn't play on the way there don't go drinking, as getting drunk means it won't play on the way home either).

 

Another thing I've found is there's a glitch where sometimes if you pick them up in a taxi and you ask the driver to change the radio station/turn the radio off very quickly as soon as you enter the car around the time that dialogue should start it can cause the dialogue to stop or not start at all. Same thing can happen if you're faffing around trying to hail a taxi or steal a car during the time the dialogue is supposed to start. So best to arrive in a car or have a taxi hailed and not to change the taxi radio too soon.

 

If it's not any of these things maybe someone else knows the answer.

Btw there's about 8 - 14 dialogues for each friend/girlfriend, plus about 3 - 6 drunk dialogues each (internet girlfriends have the least dialogues). Kind of sucks that they don't repeat imo since I like hearing them and like hanging out, would be better than silence.
