Another player got me into a bad sport lobby

Another player kept blowing me up with explosives and now I've been given "bad sport" after I started fighting back. Will I get the "good sport" back? How long does bad sport last?

It should tell you how long you've got left until you're out. The first sentence is always 48 hours.

 

There's no way to reduce your time in Bad Sport.

GTA Online is a great representation of real life just with women and men. Women can beat the sh*t out of us men and won’t get charged for it. Whilst us men even say a word and we will get thrown in jail. Just like in the game. You can’t defend yourself cos it’s considered being a bad sport but the griefers can destroy all your stuff.

First you don't deserve to be in bad sport if that's all you did despite what some idiot says. Unfortunately the only way to get out is to do your time or make friends with a good sport inside a bad sport lobby, they will have to commend you until your good to go.

Probably also likes to think that if you sell your business stock in a lobby with one other random (even if friendly) that you deserve to have your sh*t blown to smithereens and it's your own fault.

Get onto Rockstar Support and tell them you want out of Bad Sport. Make a case for it stating the usual i.e. you were being attacked etc etc

 

You may get one go at being reprieved, no questions asked. It worked for me, and apparently this has worked for a few other people too.

 

You only get one reprieve though by all accounts, so use it wisely, especially if your current sentence in BS is short.

Not easy these days Biff, especially as the OP2 riders have an apparent free pass to hover above you and spam missiles at you. You can't even lock onto the rider. Rage doesn't come into it, you have to take down the bike as well as the player if you want to survive their assaults. Not exactly deserving of BS is it?

I tried to assault a Yacht during a Piracy Prevention, however the owner were protecting it with a MKII, making it impossible to approach. So I spawn my Cherno on the beach and shots him down, and get Bad Sport points and hade to pay insurence for it.

 

My point is bad sport is bs, and should get removed for all weaponized vehicles.

I'm finding that these days I'm spending most of my time in solo public lobbies anyway, so getting sent to bad sport won't have much of an impact on me anyway.

Bad sport has always been bull. It makes no sense to penalise you for blowing up the personal car that someone attacking you with, whilst people are free to blow up your cargo vehicles and get rewarded for it. Especially dumb considering GTAO is a PVP game, so OF COURSE people are going to kill each other and blow others up, so why penalise them for playing the game the way you would assume its meant to be played?

You shouldn't have got Bad Sport points for that during Piracy Prevention. The feature is disabled during an active Freemode job. Headhunter, Torched, Piracy Prevention, Haulage, Executive Search etc etc
