The free Arabians (horses)

Some infos about the four free Arabian horses you can get in the story mode. I know that there are actually five different Arabians in the game but I don't know if you can actually get the Rose Grey one for free as I'm not that far advanced in the story to check it out. If that's the case I'll add it later on.

 

At first some general infos before going into more details.

 

A) It seems all of these horses are either available as males or females. If you don't like the gender of the one you caught just sell it and return to the area a couple of days later and try to catch it again. At least in the couple of tries I made the gender always changed from the one I had caught before. Please note that this only counts for the White, the Red Chestnut and the Warped Brindle one. The Black one can't be caught in the wilderness and to get it seems to be a one time event (read further below why).

 

B) It seems the prices you'll get for them are raising over time but there seems to be a hardcap to them. Like for example the maximum amount you'll get for the White one seems to be 240,- $.

 

The White Arabian:

 

This horse has the second best stats of the four ones mentioned in this topic.

 

 

 

It's available from the beginning of Chapter 2 and can be found west of Lake Isabella in Ambarino.

 

 

The Warped Brindle Arabian:

 

This horse has the third best stats of the four ones mentioned in this topic.

 

 

 

I don't know at what point this one is available but guess right from the start as it was added later on. It can be found west of the Wapiti Indian Reservation in Ambarino.

 

 

The Red Chestnut Arabian:

 

This horse has the fourth best stats of the four ones mentioned in this topic.

 

 

 

I don't know at what point this one is available but guess right from the start as it was added later on. It can be found west of the Owanjila Lake in West Elizabeth.

 

 

The Black Arabian:

 

This horse has the best stats of the four ones mentioned in this topic.

 

 

 

It's available for purchase at the stable in Saint Denis at the end of Chapter 3 or the beginning of Chapter 4 but you can also get it for free during a side event taking place in Saint Denis around the same time. You'll encounter a robbery of a couple at a crossroad in the city during the night time in which the robber shoots the woman and runs away. The man will then pick up her corpse and put it on a horse which is said Black Arabian. I don't know what happens if you're going to intervene in time or if you're even able to but the horse is around in before already so it's worth to try and see if you'll maybe get a reward for saving the woman.
