Kazu889
Hi guys, as title. I'll think I'll just apply mods that affect appearings, skins and graphic stuff. Will these kind of mods cause me a ban? Can anyone explain to me how to use mods and avoid ban ?
oCrapaCreeper
Any kind of mod installed will give you a chance of being banned if you enter Online. You won't get banned for using mods in singleplayer. Edited November 25, 2019 by oCrapaCreeper
Awful Waffle
just don't play Online with mods installed. if you want to go Online then quit the game, remove the mods from your install folder, and restart the game. never click the Online button with mods installed or you run the risk of "invalid files" being detected by Rockstar Games Launcher. GTA_0_B0B0
I purchased RDR2 PC from Rockstar's website and dowloaded the game via the Rockstar Games Launcher. From around the 16th of November I started using different mods in story mode. Currently my RDR2 game root folder is a bit of a mess. I am trying to determine which files/folders are "original" Rockstar files and which files/folder come from the mods which I have put there. Does anyone have a screen dump of a "clean" RDR2 game root folder? That is, a folder with no mods. I have made two pics of my game root folder (taken after the December 13th update). In Pic 1 I have selected the files/folder which I think are "original" Rockstar files and in Pic 2 I have selected the files/folders which I think are "mod-related". Could someone tell if I have divided the files correctly between "original" Rockstar files/folders and "mod-related" files/folders? I think I have made the correct categorizations, but I am really uncertain about the two files called "EasyLoad64.dll" and "EasyHook64.dll". They were modified on November 4th (one day before RDR2 PC was released) which suggests they are "original" Rockstar files, but regarding "Date created" they have the same date and exact time as some obvious "mod-related" files. GTA_0_B0B0
It seems that "EasyLoad64.dll" and "EasyHook64.dll" are mod-related files. I removed them in addition to the selected files in Pic 2: https://gyazo.com/dbf83b306166fbaba7cb3f64df0dcd40 + the "RDR2-.............crash.log-files" and I can still play the game.
