Trade Route “Zero Goods” Bug

This has been happening for a while now, but seems to be becoming more common. Today I had it happen three times in a row. I’ve submitted it as a bug to Rockstar, for whatever that’s worth.

THE PROBLEM

As soon as you accept an invite to Trade Route, you are shown a splash screen saying that you earned 0 goods, with 0 kills. Then you are shown a scoreboard of players, all with 0 goods and 0 kills. Then you are kicked back to free roam.

VIDEO

In the video you can see that I accept the invite as soon as it appears, and experience the “zero goods”bug. Then, after being kicked back to free roam, I immediately switch sessions. As soon as I load back in I get another invite to Trade Route, and accept it, and experience the “zero goods” bug AGAIN

Interesting note: the scoreboard you see each time you experience the bug is actually a list of victims. Everyone on that scoreboard experiences the same “zero goods” bug and is kicked back to free roam.

Had the exact same thing happen to me about half a dozen times.

At the moment it feels like I have about a 50% chance of getting this bug every time I accept a Trade Route invite.

The same seems to go for my friends too, when we’re in a party chat (but not posse’d up), it generally works out that about 50% of us get the zero goods bug at the moment.

Yeah - it’s about 50/50 for me too.  And same thing with the posses.

sh*tty... I've had it happen a few times but always after I'd let the invite sit for a while so I could swap cards, give carcasses to Cripps etc. I figured the waiting was the reason but I guess it's just plain old random bad luck.

I just wanted to say that since the Moonshine update, I haven’t seen a single instance of the zero goods bug. Looks like Rockstar have fixed it, or at the very least heavily alleviated it. Good stuff.
