My thoughts:

 

No Peyote Gasser is a bit disappointing but I can deal with it. One more week of dripfeed isn't going to delay an update that, plausibly, won't be out before the 10th or 17th of December anyway.

 

Surprisingly, what may actually make me log in this week will be the bonuses for the Adversary Modes. I don't play this game anymore to grind cash.

 

No clothing unlocks is also a shame but expected.

 

Don't care about discounts or anything else.

You may have overlooked it but they actually changed this bit, up until now it was

I think for some bizarre reason they delayed the release of the Peyote Gasser, something we've seen them do previously with the Jester Classic for instance, originally present in the SSASSS update but ultimately released in the After Hours update. I don't know why that should be the case but that's my guess. Otherwise they would've kept the sentence stating that more vehicles would be coming.

At this moment I don't even have a working copy of V thanks to the idiotic launcher and it looks like I may only re-download the game after the update drops. Neither drip-feed nor clothing, discounts or bonuses can interest me. Let's see what kind of new content we're talking about in December and how bad will it cripple the game.

Nice to see that the Fort Zancudo Hangar 3499 is still giving out a full rebate. I think I also heard elsewhere that there is double money on all hangar sales missions. Not could be the time to buy a hangar.

 

Also, double money on VIP missions is pretty sweet. 40k for 5 minutes work isn't something to turn down.

3x Motor Wars is always a welcome bonus, excellent mode with friends playing against randoms. Genuinely fun. 2x VIP Work and Challenges is one of the best 2x you can ever have, too. Bonus points, huge discount on warehouses when I needed it!

 

All in all, good week. I feel bad for the car enthusiasts though.

There ARE some positives to be taken from this event week:

• The Benefactor Krieger on the Lucky Wheel
• 3X Motor Wars (actually, pretty fun in sort of crappy Fortnite, PUBG, Apex Legends, you name it, sort of way)
• CEO work (hop in your Armoured Boxville and say hello to GTA$70,000)

But there's something about 2X payouts on "select adversary modes" that makes me want to disappear down the mental rabbit hole and never come back! Please take a running jump, Rockstar marketing, and put 2X on ALL adversary modes instead of churning out this "select" bollocks! You never know, we might get 2X on Running Back next week  . No one cares about the majority of these AMs, so stop trying to market them INDIVIDUALLY.

Well its another quiet week in Los Santos,  the usual day to day routine traveling between businesses in my empire.  And a few nights out at the casino.

 

I got lucky on the wheel of fortune today, new car lands on podium...... and win in a few hours after they display it.

Hardest Target is about the only crapersary mode on promotion I can put up with for more than a couple matches.  Motor Wars is bleh and Power Play I never cared for.

 

Krieger, had it on my main character but decided I prefer the handling on the Emerus more. Might try snagging it on my second character but that one has an Emerus as well for when stunt races go on promotion.

 

 I own all the Pegassi cars I like and have room for already.

Honestly, been trying other games in hope of something sticking, and nothing can keep my attention for more than 5 minutes, I've had enough before even starting anything, lol.

 

Might seem a tad OTT, and off topic. But I'm seriously thinking I'm done with gaming, let alone R*'s games. Been a few months now aside the odd flutter to try other games, nothing. I just have nothing, lol. And when away from gaming, I wanna stay away.

 

Crazy innit!

 

Maybe Christmas changes things, but I'm seriously thinking it won't this time.

Same sentiments for me. I do like occasional stuff in Horizon 4 plus I'm playing a bit of WRC 8/ Dirt rally 2.0 but general, mainstream games are absolutely dull. I've blew my RDR 2 budget on another fountain pen and right now I have zero regrets. The moment I imagine that I need to feed my character in RDR, I'm starting to feel boredom. Most games are not fun these days.

I guess I can try to purchase a Monroe again for my OG character while it's on sale. Maybe the 2nd one will not have a #%*!! coffee cup in it.

That's true, VIP work is the only good thing about this week... but I'm burned out too. Fun as  the Casino update was, it wasn't a long term brought back interest like Doomsday was after Smugglers Run killed my interest. Arena Wars destroyed all interest and hype I had, if we get a sequel I swear I will uninstall this game.

Not gonna lie, and I’m probably not the only one, but I prefer Motor Wars way, way over the other BR-style games (it’s pretty much the only BR-style game I’d play). I wouldn’t touch those games with a 10ft barge pole with how they are now. So in all technicality, it isn’t really crap.

I understand why some people aren't impressed by this week's deals, but double money on VIP is a grinder's dream come true. Headhunter and Sightseer are invaluable missions for grinders, as they only play them as a 5 minute filler to get get past the cooldowns on other missions. So getting 40k for doing 5 minutes work is a very welcome bonus.

 

Can anyone confirm that air cargo sale missions are double money? I don't see it mentioned in the list but a couple of youtubers have mentioned it. Now could be the time for me to get myself a hangar.
