Question about lucky wheel cars

I've heard that cars, which players have won in lucky wheel, simply disappears after customization and if someone destroys these cars, then these cars are gone forever, despite that game says those cars are insured.

 

Does it really happen or it's just nothing more than another lousy rumor?! Asking this because I wouldn't like to spend all my money on that car I got in lucky wheel just to discover that it's gone forever because one of these two things happened.

You have to watch out for the alien motherships and their traction beams too. At least three of my Lucky Wheel cars have started to float upwards and dematerialize .

Afaik, this got fixed a week later after The Diamond Casino and Resort was released.

Thankfully, what's odd (but still true) is that some cars won at the Lucky Wheel can sell for ~$100,000 as-is, without adding any mods in an LSC.

 

Not sure why some cars are "valued" at $0 and others are actually worth quite a bit, unless it's a "super car vs. generic car" auto value routine?

Besides some of my cars being sucked upwards by traction beams , I noticed that some Lucky Wheel cars (I have won five so far) were worth $0 at first, but after adding $300,000 of mods, were still worth $0. This was dispiriting.

I found that If a podium vehicle (unmodded) can be sold for more than $0 it sells always for 10% of its regular price (X1).

Wait a minute?! There were some problems with these lucky wheel cars?! Oh..well….even if there were then hopefully there aren't any problems now and I can spend my money on these cars without any worries.

Would be nice to be able to sell a car I don't like (that is if I'll ever get a car I don't like in lucky wheel) for 100 000 $, but I have a feeling that's not going to happen.
