Masque Posted November 20, 2019 Share Posted November 20, 2019 Hello there. I'm new either to the game and in here, i just started the second chapter. I just saw a couple of bandits beating the poor guy against tree in Valentine, shaking him for valuables or so. I know that i am bandit myself, but some positive reputation within the town wouldn't hurt. So i get closer to them, one turns to me: "This one wants to die." So i started to beat him with fists. But other one just dragged a revolver and started to shoot, i did too and shot them both. But some civilians ran to deputy and i was proclaimed a murderer with 30 on my head. My question is. Am i the only one who cannot hurt anybody? Bandits of other gangs can do everything but when i kill bandit and civilians saw the whole scene, am i the only aggressor in the place? Is it the problem that i cannot solve sheriff's problems like some "hero"? And when dudes draws guns on me and start shooting, i cannot even defend myself, because i am the only one killing someone? Or how this works? I'm really confused of the whole scene... Btw the poor victim dude died, but i don't killed. I hope. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ShieldMaiden Posted December 11, 2019 Share Posted December 11, 2019 This bothers me a lot! I am trying to get better honor by helping NPC's and as a result, I get a bounty. Sometimes it's best to surrender when the lawmen shows up, if you dont bother racing away and pay off your bounty at the nearest post office. You usually dont even get arrested for disturbing the peace or fist fighting, the cop will just tell you to move along. If you ignore the police's orders to leave you will be arrested and charged five dollars. I think murder is $25-30 per kill. You have to stand there until the "Lawman" prompt comes up on the bottom right side of the screen, then focus on the lawman and surrender.
