Here on my specs it's kinda a fps killer. This option came after the patch.

D1rtyD1g1tal 25
I'm getting some weird visual glitches. Fast weight loss in singleplayer was the result of faster draining cores. Theoretically it should be fixed in singleplayer as well. alexandru_89 3
I also got lower FPS and blurry shadows after i installed this patch and the new nvidia driver The upside is that i got rid of the stutters also without the command input in the rockstar launcher. The previous patch was better in my case anyway.

Because if you move/click your mouse during one of those interactions, it will appear. 2ndLastJedi 33
My game was running fine before patch and haven't started my PC today, should I on Pascal be updating to the newest driver and removing the cpu argument (7700k here). I have photos of my current settings so will just input them again and should I be looking into files to make sure the settings take?

gregorius11 115
Do you guys notice any negative impact on the weather cycle? The game just went from a perfectly clear sky to a heavy thunderstorm in literally three seconds which lasted for about 15 seconds and then the sky cleared in a blink of an eye. I've just played for 30 minutes and it happened to me twice.

When I first started playing it was fine but over the last few hours of playtime artifacts have started creeping in. Momentary flashes of pure blue, among other things. Seems to be especially prevalent in Lemoyne. It's rarer in gameplay but it's quite distracting during cutscenes. I have major problems with water reflections, they flicker like crazy when the distance. Never had that problem before. Edited November 20, 2019 by Streifenkarl

I've just played for 30 minutes and it happened to me twice. It was like this on the consoles too. The timecyc/weather cycle just sucks. Nothing lasts. Sunrises and sunsets are too quick. Nighttime is actually shorter than daytime. It's one of the things people want to mod/fix so time and weather works like in every other GTA/RDR game. I know there's a script that supposedly makes the days longer, but beyond that I don't know much about it or how well it works. Even if I had the game now I wouldn't bother using it. Waiting until OpenIV updates with RDR2 support to see if there's anything that can be altered in the files. Making the days longer isn't even the solution. It's some weird time dilation thing. Time/clock slows down in camp. Time/clock speeds up at night. Weather seems to be based around movement somehow just like how in GTA V you'll see shadows move faster when running or driving, but if you stand still they slowly creep across the ground. If you walk or stand still in RDR2 storms should last longer, from what I remember when playing on my PS4 at least. So maybe it does have to be done with a script. Who knows. But yeah, it's by some weird design that hopefully someone with scripting knowledge can figure out if it can't be done through .meta files. The daycycle needs to just be a standard 48-minute day, wherever you are no matter what. None of this sped-up or slow-down sh*t.

Never had that problem before. Are refractions on low? Medium fixed this for me. Before starting Rstar launcher I copied the system settings file to my desktop, started and updated Rstar, started RDR2 and moved the preset slider to far right and went and put in my settings from photos from before update, quit game and compared files only to find Deepsurface was the only one different (was on hight instead of Ultra), changed it to Ultra and ran RDR2, running perfectly smooth at 1440p 60 still happy days. I did leave the launch argument in and didn't update to latest driver(I don't trust nvidia with my 1080ti either). Edited November 20, 2019 by 2ndLastJedi

ThirtyIR 7
The new patch has ruined the game for me - now getting ERR_GFX_STATE errors randomly. I did not install the Hotfix driver - I have a 10-core/20-thread CPU so I figured the hotfix was only for 4 - 6 core CPUs?
UpTheDowngrade 212
This is really f*cking annoying. You can't even count on story mode to be consistent from day to day. You have to worry about them releasing a "fix", which they force on you, that only makes it worse. Edited November 20, 2019 by UpTheDowngrade
