Makes sense why my FX 6300 and 1060 gives 4-5 more frames and better frametimes than the last patch. For me, the difference was immediately noticeable when I fired the benchmark. UpTheDowngrade 212
I seem to have gained 1fps average after the patch (48 FPS average, 60FPS Max), but out in the open country with no buildings or people around, I seem to get worse fps. Maybe it was a fluke, I need to test it more. Edited November 19, 2019 by UpTheDowngrade
MeatSafeMurderer 1,263
Anyone else getting odd graphical artifacting? When I first started playing it was fine but over the last few hours of playtime artifacts have started creeping in. Momentary flashes of pure blue, among other things. Seems to be especially prevalent in Lemoyne. It's rarer in gameplay but it's quite distracting during cutscenes. Edited November 19, 2019 by MeatSafeMurderer
TheCoolDean 102
Am I the only who got way worse performance after this update? When the settings got reset after the patch, most of the settings was set to ultra, and I went back to my old settings and now I'm getting 20 fps less on my 4790k and 1080ti. Nvidia usually doesn't host these hotfixes on the main driver site - it'll get added in the next driver update. Edited November 19, 2019 by Tagger_

D1rtyD1g1tal 25
I haven't had any issues with the game , but while looking at the xml file to make sure snow glint and deep surface were set properly I noticed the line for async compute. Is there any reason for me to enable it using a i74790k? I've heard people mention that setting before but I don't really know what it does.
Hellbendzor 1,340
I had no issues whatsoever before, but I immediately noticed something had changed from this morning… Then I recalled it updated again this evening (over here)… Once again my graphical settings are messed up again and I cant recall correctly what it was before...Tomorrow I'll fiddle around again, but this is something very very annoying... It's just a feel over here, but my performance has dropped. I feel it's not as smooth as this morning… Some artifacts happening... Perhaps time to updated the drivers but in that department I don't really trust Nvidia to keep their fingers off the performance of my 1080ti... I can Always revert ofcourse, we'll see... Overall, I understand these patches to cure issues, but plz stay away from changing custom graphical settings… Makes it damn hard to actually Judge if a patch improves the performance. Don't like how it changes the settings based on how good/bad that customer's pc is. We can do that ourselves, starting from a generic standard medium setting...
