That's normal. Particles are demanding and detailed in RDR2, and if you get inside them, you get the full detail and it might drop your FPS for a second.

All Screen-Space Reflections work like that in every game. 😛

Yup can confirm Valentine high FPS as well. In woods, I am having less drops. It is running stable 45-49. Only place I drop below 40 now is near Water.. Possibly because I like them water physics maxed out. 😛 

 

This patch is really good. 

 

EDIT: Core drain looks fixed too.

ah i see

 

also there's still crash when not using -cpuloadrebalancing tried using dx12 galloping around saint denis and bam it ctd, im using i5 9600k and 1660ti

NICE! Even targeting just 42FPS Arthur has apparently been suffering from bulemia. No matter how much I've had him eating he's still underweight.

Yeah noticed that too. Damn 200 mb patch and a lot of fixes including performance gains.

Most issues are probably in the core code so it's all in the 80 MB executable. 😛

Is this during normal gameplay or just whilst interacting with a camp/shopkeeper/etc? Because if you move/click your mouse during one of those interactions, it will appear.

Hi im still randomly having crashes usually if i enter some towns but sometimes not, usually it will just freeze for a sec or two then back to game launcher "exited unexpectacly' error...but when runs it runs great after last patch and since this patch it feels little snapier tho its starting to happen more often than not. Cupl of crashes i seen the message 'not enough memory' which dont make sense i have 11g vram on Strix 1080Ti and 16g ram on 8700k  all other games run fine ....any ideas ?I already tried RStar Virtual ram fix.Thanks any input is appreciated.
