kcole4001 Posted November 18, 2019 Share Posted November 18, 2019 I initially tried using CodeSwine, which I use for solo publics in GTA, but I kept getting failure to connect errors until I shut down the program, then it connected perfectly, so my guess is it's not possible. I've reported the finicky offline mode to customer support and this is what they said: "Thank you for writing back to us. We understand your concern regarding the internet connectivity with the Story mode. We would like to inform you that, the internet connectivity is required to enter the game." Jesus, that game isn't keep on giving. It's not that I have a limited connectivity, but I can't understand why do I need to be online to play SP? Still thinking whether I should buy the thing or just watch the story on YouTube. I don't like always online games, but can tolerate some from smaller studios. Hope it gets resolved, might not seem like a big deal to some but playing offline whenever I want is big for me. It's not right paying 60$ for a game when you can't play offline whenever you want.
