Linux port?

Do you guys think that R* would eventually release a Linux port of RDR2, based on the fact that the Stadia version ran on Linux servers? Or is Linux too much of a niche market for them to even bother?

I guess we will have to wait and see. Linux is definitely a niche market for the majority of devs simply because W10 has a large userbase.

Well, the game is built on Linux already (for Stadia), so it really is just a choice of wanting to try it out to see how it does or not, after the Stadia grace period is over.

Yes but is very likely that those servers will run an Windows emulator so I don't think wee will se an Linux port what so ever.

No, the servers run actual Linux. Stadia runs Linux versions of games on Vulkan.  Also, since the companion app stuff we know RAGE has been built for Linux already at some point.

Alternatively you can try DXVK or some other solution to use the WinVK API on Linux.
