Now that we have RDR2 and RDO im so excited for GTA 6, RDR2 was amazing the graphics the story the characters the map the activities everything, I love it all and wow i literally cant wait for GTA 6 I really hope they remember that GTA 5 DIDNT WORK it wasnt good, yes i liked some of the main characters but the 3 protagonists didnt work the story wasnt good and GTAO was a mess, I actually love the gun fighting in GTA storymode and in early GTAO but jesus GTAO has ruined GTA 5 for me in general. Obviously the graphics cant be faulted in GTA5 as it was amazing at the time but RDR2's graphics are the best graphics on any game (my opinion), anyway what do you guys think but personally if Rockstar North look at RDR2 and stop trying to cater to kids GTA6 could become the best GTA games ever (My favourite is GTA4) but yea are you guys excited and if not why?

It may be the best selling game in history but that doesnt mean it was good it really wasnt everyone knows that and its still in steam top sellers now because modders get banned and keep buying the game, and because it was such a big game when it came out and there was nothing like it at the time other than the previous games that made it really enticing to kids especially with online, heck it made it enticing to anyone interested in games casual and pro everyone wanted to play this game but that doesnt make it good.

Excitement, indeed.  My excitability factor cannot be defined by a number, but yet it is definitively higher every time I hear the dream singing ‘MIRACL3’... free to fall from the vapor trails after the artful decoys flatline and the Orb gives the public the bottom line, of a globe all around which boundary lines are story lines that will kick start ambitious escapades, an experience bearing a distinct identity for playmakers and storytellers. 
 

Every beholder will be their own story teller, with the spirit of the experience redeeming itself, RTX-style... even if it is so indelibly unhinged that you must drop a hand before your peripheral vision and screen out the pixels because realism is a creeper and you never know when it is coming to haunt  expectations. 
 

With this game, it did not just get real, it was real when the Almighty drew an astronomical breath: ‘pleystachione’.

Just like RDR2 I probably wont get excited/interested until the launch trailer drops and whether or not I get a next gen console.

Hmm.. every game I've been excited about turned out to be lousy, so... I'll pass. (Like.. seriously. Grand Theft Auto V... Mafia III... The Sims 4... and so on).

 

Last game I've been very excited about and then the game turned out to be what I expected it to be was Grand Theft Auto IV, then Mafia II.

I'm not as excited sure the teaser is fun but then they go silent for like a year or two. I dont want to go through all that again the info droughts, in a few weeks or so, fake leakers though we have fake leakers already but when its officially announced they get worse because you're more vulnerable and believe any bullsh*t they throw at you.  Then of course the delays, dates getting moved...

 

Not to mention the possibility of having to upgrade to a new console. I'll be excited sure I'll always love GTA but not as excited as I used to be.

Imagine Rockstar announcing Max Payne 4 to be released 2020 (or 2021). This section would be... quite angry, I suppose.

No, everyone doesn't "know it." V is ten times the game that IV was. Although if you want to call out Rockstar and Take2 for their Freemium thuggery with GTAO, Shark Card shenanigans, and for abandoning single player in V, all that I would agree with. But game for game, in terms of pure, single player experience, IV was awful. Thank God they moved past all that realism stupidity in V and at least brought a lot of what GTA did better than anyone else before 2008, which was FUN.

I mean art is extremely subjective etc and even though it feels like kind of a stretch to call GTA V art the same rules about everyone's personal biases and perspectives changing the conclusions we come to about how good things are still apply when you're evaluating videogames

 

I think GTA V has the veneer of being a lot more fun and lighthearted, but the tone of the worldbuilding feels a lot more miserable and cynical which kind of drags things down a lot. The systems of driving and shooting guns specifically are a lot better, but also i don't think a lot of the minor physics stuff that seems to have been cut would make the game worse to play

Speak for yourself. GTA V was better than IV in pretty much everything for me. Except the main theme, I can give that to IV.

In GTA 4 the city felt more alive and interactive and actually felt like a city, but aside from that for the most part GTA 5 was a massive upgrade over GTA 4 and I can’t wait to see what Rockstar will do with GTA 6.
