rr12
Im gonna get the PC version on May 16th and I have several q's: 1.How many missions does Vice City have both story driven and side missions? 2. Is it as long as GTA3? 3. Is the game easy? Will I complete the game in a weekend? 4. How different is the PC version? Is it just graphics? I couldnt find the answers anywhere so if someone could give my some idea it would be a help. Thanks
Purple9
In answer to your questions: 1: Over 50, I'm pretty sure. Not sure of an exact figure. 2: Hmm, hard to say. If you include all the other sidemissions for Vice, Vice is longer. The story maybe longer in GTA3 tho. 3: Well, if you're a GTA Wizz, you'll complete it in no time. But, if you're quite new to the GTA Scene, it may take you weeks maybe months to get a grip on it and complete it successfully. 4: PC Version will obviously have better graphics; but that's dependant on your computer's performance. The better your comp, the better your VC:PC experience will be. Sorry for the unsure answers of 1 and 2. I'm sure someone with a clearer view on them can answer your question fully. The Precinct - We're upping our standards, so up yours!
GTATHUG77
1. i don't know for sure, it's more than GTA3, it just doesn't feel like it 2.depends, how commited and how good you are. but i'd say on the whole probably about 80% lengthwise compared to GTA3 3. f*ck NO, it may be shorter, BUT NOT THAT SHORT, i completed it in 110 game days that was with perhaps some but not alot of mucking around. that's 55 hours straight. so yes if you sat in front of the tv for 55 hours straight you probably could complete it in little over a weekend, but for practical purposes. you'll probably get about a month hardcore gaming out of it. and then IT UNLIMITED MUCKING AROUND TIME. 4. yes i think the only major difference will be graphics just like GTA3(althought the GTApc wasn't THAT much better than the ps2 version for the solid framerate that the ps2 version provided anyway)and of course, the obvious, you can mod pc versions. hope you purchase it and have a great time with vice. well that's your answers

Ballistic Jello
2 weeks and a day for me, playing nearly all day on weekends and occasionally during the week. GTA3 had a longer main story, though. I was thinking that it would be cool if they made some of the side missions intertwine with the main story. EG, you might have to go drive a semi trailer and drop off cargo 50 times (that would be a side mission) in order to get your commercial driver's license. That way, in the main mission, the cops wouldn't automatically pull you over, unless you're doing something illegal (running people over, etc.) and you could proceed normally, driving, say, a limo, or a semi with a missile on the back or summat. In short, the side missions might give you an object or an ability to help you in the main mission. Or, if it was really advanced, they could have scripted scenes for some of the side missions, and build them into the main story. EDITx1: Dumb typo.
