I have a character that will never own a MOC or Avenger. I'd spin the wheel and close the app to score a Stromberg for her.

Is not having a MOC/Avenger out of principle? Cost? Or were you like me with my second character who was more grounded and low-tech?

It's just a minimalist thing, as far as this character is concerned. I have 5 characters across three PSN accounts. Three own everything, one is fairly minimal and one owns nothing but the free Buzzard from last Christmas and a custom blue Dominator stolen off the street.

 

But getting back on topic, the Stromberg is also fun to create PVE chaos while trying to not get shot out of the vehicle by the police. That big windshield can make it easier for them to do it. An interesting challenge when bored.

Memes and jokes aside for a minute, I think this kind of forum thread is acceptable for two reasons:

1. In the lack of an official Newswire post, people should still be able to comment on the event week and a thread like this is more appropriate to do so than the usual scapegoat for pointless bickering;
2. Folks have done it in the past and the moderators found it fit to keep the thread open and discussion going. There is no reason why the same shouldn't apply here.

Antagonizing someone else shouldn't be answer, especially when they thought they were doing the community a service. Besides, there is no denying that the usual threads I post every week are basic "copy and pastes" of the newswire, with a few sprinkles here and there to spice and vary it up. Although I think @ventogt could and should have better constructed his thread, at the root of everything, he brought no harm to anyone.

You're a tough act to emulate and I wasn't trying to usurp the typical thread but I logged on this AM early eastern time to play the game and originally just cross posted the early Reddit thread, which was rendered poorly inline, so copy/pasted, which also is formatted ugly I admit.  Rockstar is getting lazy as mentioned as I looked there first, then had to dig around in Reddit to find the updated goodies for the week.

 

You deserve a lot of credit for the amount of care and formatting you put into your weekly posts so hopefully seeing some knob like myself sharing the info makes people appreciate what you do more

Just to spite everyone who's bickering, I'm pinning this thread as this is the latest event and many times in the past threads are copied and pasted from the Newswire or Social Club. Such drama just because of a thread about a bonus week being more basic, wow.
