Barometer
Pc is above recommended settings except the 8ram. Ok, it's in a bad state and i doubt we're the minority since everyone talks about this but i'll pass. At launch i only experienced some frame drop since i was playing above high settings during snowstorm, then the following days especially after the patch the real fun begun: 1) Unexpected error (Tried every single thing people suggested) 2) The map icons where in the wrong position 3) Stuttering for 0.2 seconds every few seconds, i can hear my pc doing a weird sound (and if it doesn't well unexpected error issue 1*) 4) Graphics went worse after the patch for some reason, it was fine before, looked really good but that's the last thing i care about now. 5) Sometimes the game won't even load. 6) One blue screen and PC restart. 7) Some lag even on lowest settings. Made me think of Rome 2's launch (where only a few people experienced the problem). Work on it, bomb it with patches. kcole4001

Mine makes a bedonk….donk noise a lot when using deadeye, never quite crashes but it gives the impression it's very close to a freeze, it gets very stutter for a few seconds. It's not sticky keys trying to activate, I had to turn that off because smacking L shift to gallop when I'm trying to get away from the law would initiate the sticky key box and the horse would stop entirely by the time I got rid of that nonsense. I get a fair amont of half loads where the grey bar only goes halfway then stops and I have to close and reload the game, but it always works the second time. And to be fair, Rome II's launch was an utter sh*tshow for many months, that's part of the reason I won't buy any more CA games, that and the incessant, inevitable barrage of DLCs that were originally promised before launch. Very poor business practices, and I will not support that, ever.
Barometer
I understand what you mean. At least you can play! I made an exception with Warhammer since it's my all time favorite, own every dlc
longjohn119
Whenever I hear a BS apology from a bunch of Corporate Pinheads I always go back to this George Carlin bit You know that big, bullsh*t businessman smile? And if you're a customer - Whoah! - that's when you get the really big smile. Customer always gets that really big smile, as the businessman carefully positions himself directly behind the customer, and unzips his pants, and proceeds to service...the...account. I am servicing this account. This customer needs service. Now you know what they mean. Now you know what they mean when they say, "We specialize in customer service." Whoever coined the phrase "let the buyer beware" was probably bleeding from the asshole. That's (the gaming) business.
