XxJazzy42xX
Well........that was the quickest I've done all difficulty levels on a bounty. Normally I spread it out, but I love the idea of blasting villians off the train. Now we need to be able to rob trains ourselves......too bad we can't derail trains in dramatic fashion in this game as a gameplan for stopping Red Ben Clempson: Shadowfennekin, yeezy203, PabtheFab and 3 others

Start grinding for that metal detector i'd say, that seems to be the best income. Until we get our hands on that collections & hunting seems to be the best income. You just need time. I have been playing on a friend's account to max their club rank and earn the gold to buy it before the end of the week. In 2 days I have gone from level 24 to 47 (character - club rank is 70). Bought collectors shovel and metal detector. Fully upgraded 3 ability cards. Earned around 27 gold and $1.5k after purchases. Gold was priority, got that from dailies, stranger missions, bounties and treasure maps. Focusing on collecting next and think $10k is possible in the next 2 days. BTW, my friend has a job and busy life. She is a casual player and even having 2 months or so to finish the Outlaw Pass, just hasn't had the time to do it. I understand it can be frustrating for most. It is a slow, time consuming grind. And I agree about the metal detector (and shovel). They are a must buy this week for new players looking to earn cash. I would think it is possible for a casual to collect a full set of coins per day. I think that pays $625 this week. Edited November 14, 2019 by Next-Gen Vercettis Foxwolfe, Xtf and Rev. fryday
When you start a game, you have no money and no inventory Thats the case in massive games (especially RPGs) since 30 years. its a massive game, which needs time to be invested. I cant get the point that everybody wants to be max level and have every single ingame item after 2 weeks of playing... Especially casual gamer shouldnt have the claim to reach every ingame goal. Because every time i've grinded a little money i need to spend it all on a card upgrade, new weapon, less crap horse, camp upgrade, etc etc. While im also constantly burning money on fast travel, horse care package, paying off bountys, placing the camp & more. Meanwhile i enjoy the story missions so i keep playing those on call, neat that i get more xp (dont really need/want that right now tbh, already level 34 while still feeling like a total scrub) but super lame that you only get paid for these once. Since yesterday i've started 'cheating' by using a collection map like everybody else though, so im sure i'll be fine soon, thanks @Next-Gen Vercettis for the tip about going for the coin set btw, ill go hunt for those today i guess. Edit: nevermind, i need the metal detector for coins lol, jewelry run it is --- Anywho we prolly shouldn't be discussing money problems in a topic about the legendary bounty, so uh, to get back on-topic, i have a love-hate relationship with how a few guys on the train have sawn off shotguns, especially that one guy after the cart you have to climb over, he 1shot killed me at least 3 times, and my low level friend doesnt even wanna play the bounty anymore because of that guy haha. Tips to avoid costs at low levels: Dont buy food, use meat or looted snacks! Dont buy horse food, use flowers Dont use fast travel!!! use the ammo, which is dropped mostly by NPCs to avoid buying ammo so often (repeater ammo and revolver ammo) avoid bounties, its not that hard FrikkenZz, Xtf, Rev. Go to Lemoyne and hunt gators. The only meat you really want is big game meat. Also every 10 levels you get a treasure map. You can buy max amount of hay for your horse too. Just hunt, fish and do side missions and story missions until you get enough MUNEH. Edited November 14, 2019 by TCA
areyouchappin
@suicidal_banana RDO$ is honestly not that difficult to acquire. Don't fast travel, it's a huge waste of money and besides you'll miss out on random encounters that can get you loot. Always be hunting no matter what you're doing, that way when you get to a town you have stuff to sell. Rabbits, raccoons, birds/feathers, small creatures etc don't take up horse inventory so it's easy cash. And if riding the horse between locations is not something you like to do, you can do this instead: first you set a waypoint for wherever you need to go, get on your horse, go into cinematic mode, start moving your horse towards the waypoint and it will automatically ride to the end of the waypoint. Now, you can put your controller down and watch your horse carry you to the desired location. Xtf and Nerfgoth

Start grinding for that metal detector i'd say, that seems to be the best income. Until we get our hands on that collections & hunting seems to be the best income. I wouldn't necessarily say the game is totally skewed toward high levels. Most of us console players have been playing since launch so we've gotten a lot of play time under our belt. But in the first few months of the game, money and gold were very hard to come by, especially before they added in challenges and streaks and upped the payouts for things. I spent hours upon hours just riding up and down the shoreline to the east of St. Denis shooting birds and selling feathers to the butcher. That's how most of my money was made early on in the game, and even now I would say it's a good money maker for new players. When I wasn't single handedly causing the extinction of birds in St. Denis, I went to eastern New Austin and cycled between Bonnie, James Langton's, and Shaky's stranger missions. They were all in pretty close proximity to each other and can usually be done back to back to back without a cooldown. That netted me pretty decent money and gold. I would also argue that making money is a lot easier now than it was at launch. There's more story missions that all give a decent payout on the first go around, more stranger missions which are decent payouts, and once you get the gold to start a role, that opens the game up for loads more money making opportunities. Like others have said, you just have to play the game and put in time yeezy203, Xtf, Non Funkable Token and 1 other
Shadowfennekin
lol wow this bounty was trash. I wasn't expecting the guy to be RIGHT smack in the middle of the train.... and accidentally killed him. Only did the one run, wasn't any different from the regular 'train bounty' but I do like that much like last week our character's not forced to be a dumb bitch that walks straight up to the bounty and expects them to come quietly. Stupidis
I do like a shootout on trains. But this would have been so much more fun if it took place on a passenger train. Maybe you had to avoid collateral damage among the passengers. Or just have a complete bloodbath on your path to capture (or kill) the bounty. Ghoffman9
This bounty is particularly annoying at level five difficulty. Mainly because the bounties all camp in the boxcars of the train. They are all in a conga line directly in front of each other, with the bounties most times the one in front. This creates the situation where its very difficult or outright impossible to shoot the regular enemies behind them. Not to mention several of them got shotguns that they just spam constantly. These enemies must be killed if you wish to hogtie the bounties without getting blasted away instantly. Leaving you no choice but to climb on top of the boxcar so you can get behind them so you can flank them and shoot the regular enemies safely. This itself is a risky move cause of the other enemies that are ahead and you are completely exposed with no cover when on top of a boxcar.
