How to change ammo type?

For the love of me, I cannot figure out how to change ammo type in the weapon wheel. I've tried using arrow keys, pressing B key (I read somewhere about it), or any other key and nothing helps.

 

Please enlighten me

I don't think the dialog box shows up for it until later in the game so if you're coming in from a console play, you'll be searching for it before it says it to get to those sweet, sweet hollow points and explosive ammunition's.

I'm not coming from a console, but I've figured out on my own that there are multiple types, I even bought different types, but couldn't figure out how to use them

A thank you from me as well, there is no notification in RDO.

I've made all kinds of split points, been awarded many of the other types as promos, but hadn't the faintest idea how to access them.

The obvious use of arrow keys didn't work, and Q & E changes weapons.

 

There really should be a proper key bind page/list somewhere to cover all this hidden sh*t!

The mouse wheel should be used for this.

You hold the weapon wheel key down, Highlight the weapon keeping the weapon wheel open, then you can mouse click on the ammo types toward the middle bottom of the wheel.  It should say "Standard" then there are 4 other unhighlighted circles below the word standard that will switch the standard text to whatever type you have on hand or on your horse.
