Illuminartists
Hello folks, has anyone had it running perfectly 60fps then changed one thing (I changed water reflections from custom to high) and now it is unplayably slow about 1 frame every two seconds, cannot seem to reset anything or get it working again. Reinstalled NVDIA drivers, direct X, Vulcan, everything but the actual game.. which im trying to avoid but will try next I guess... overnight.. anyone else had this problem.. perfect to unplayable with one setting change and cannot change back???? Phemph
I've had a similar experience. Was choppy but it worked on launch, then they patched it and now it's broken. I get under 1 frame per second even on the loading and menu screens. Ctrl-alt-del and then rebooting it in safe mode gets a just about workable version on minimum settings, but if I go in an experimentally change ANYTHING in the settings, it goes right back to under 1 frame per second, even in the settings menu itself. Even if I select not to save that change, or if I try to switch something to a lower settings, it's the same experience. I'm seeing this across both my gaming laptops - both well above minimum spec.
