Running it off a RX 590 and it looks and plays amazing! Super smooth and amazing graphics on ultra. Don't know what everyone is complaining about they must have bad rigs.

Whilst the game does look good and all, this kind of attitude isn't needed, the whole ass kissing and insulting anyone who has had issues with the launcher or the game and saying they have bad rigs doesn't exactly help. Yes a lot of people are trying to set the game higher than they should but there's still some Rockstar jank here and there which really could be ironed out, personally for me I'd love to see HDR actually get fixed, there's plenty of other games on PC which do it right but Rockstar had issues with HDR on consoles and those same issues persist on PC.

Yes it looks pretty good and runs real smooth if you have a pretty good rig. Running 65+ FPS mostly in the high 70s most of the time with HIgh settings on 1440P. Never even stutters on me. People that complain and throw a fit because they have an older PC are being unreasonable however. Its an expensive hobby and its a changing hobby. If you don't upgrade you fall behind.

It's an ignorant assumption to say technical problems/bad performance = weak PC. Just because it runs good on your end doesn't mean other people must have sh*tty computers if they're experiencing problems.

Ridiculous thread. Yes, the game runs good on a lot of computers. You seem to be one of them, but your childish attitude against people that doesnt have the same positive experience as you is just as I said, ridiculous. 
 

Rockstar have already admit that they are working on the known bugs.

How rude to call the old girl low end after all we've been through together. It's normal to have issues upon release, and it's silly to stay angry about it after the initial frustration whilst we wait for patches, but why should people who have computers a fair bit better than min. requirements stay quiet?

yes, imine was constently crashing, updated tons and click out avg, etc now it seems to be ok, got it going and its smooth and nice looking, just need a mic to talk to others online

Game runs fine for me, great, I'm lucky.

I'm not about to tell everybody else that they're somehow wrong, though, just because I like and am able to enjoy the game.

Bruh, 1060 6gb can’t even run it. I was told it would be fine. No matter how much I pay, my games always run badly or I have to turn the graphics down HEAPS to make it run semi-well, with the trade off of the whole thing looking like cancer

Yeah the 1060 ran the game like sh*t for me aswell. I've had it since it came out so I decided to upgrade to 5700 xt, however that shouldn't be needed to play this game tbh.

I've never seen such a bullsh*t statement on these forums. There are people who exceed the minimum and recommended requirements from Rockstar themselves and are having serious issues running the game.

What performance problems are you having exactly? Did you edit any of the settings?

I just want to know why people are only posting negative things about this game. I wanted to raise discussion as to the specific things they are doing (such as setting everything beyond what the rig is capable of) as to why they have "bad performance".

That must be it! I don't know why that never occurred to me before, but doggone it, it makes perfect sense!

A person could have a 1080 Ti or a 2080 Ti, and a 4770K or i9-9900K, but if there's something rotten inside....if there's an Evil Leper Gnome, or say, someone cast an evil spell on his system, well then...everything goes out the window!

 

I'm sure it's just a bunch of bad rigs. A developer can't take everything into account, after all.

I've been told its all on Rockstar games, so we'll see if we can run it well on the 1060 6gb in 3 weeks when they fix it. Good luck go with you, mate.
