In GTA 5 with almost HIGHEST settings, I got 60fps, on low settings in RDR2 I get about 40fps.

What do I do? I was told at my PC shop that I won't need a better graphics card. I have a 1060 6gb

 

Oh and something I've been wanting to know for a long time: Does RDR2 have something like GTA 5's director mode? Because I want to be able to go out on endless, all-out, gunslinging sprees in towns with constant waves of enemies but with the safety of invincibility, like in director mode.

You should post the entirety of your PC specs. Your 1060 should not only get 40FPS at lowest settings (1080P resolution).

RDR2 does not have a director mode sadly, only a photo mode. You can download a trainer (when available) to make yourself invincible if you want.

Aight, also, whats with my gun constantly dequipping itself mid-battle? Sometimes when I get tackled too, and I break free.

but fo real rn, something is bad with the files or/and ur pc, 1060 should is performing better in this game

no, im saying that everyone that has 1060 doesnt need to play on low to get 40 fps, somethin is wrong with your files or/and ur computer

Any way to fix it? Judging by the community outrage at Rockstar lately for RDR2's terrible launch, the issue is on rockstars side, not the player's

Okay jesus christ. This whole game is letting me down each minute. First the frame lag and jitters, then the horse controls, much more, and now EVERY time I get back on my horse it dequips my weapons, I mean it puts my shoulder and back longarm into the horse cargo, so I have to scroll through and get it again. Jesus
