I have encountered similar stuff only once when a misson got stuck, considered this being something unrelated to the hook, is there a way to reproduce this ? And what is disappearing missons bug ? The issue might be somewhere in the game itself like it was with err_gfx_state, R* had fixed it afaik, while the trainer was just pushing the game out of standard gameplay bounds. For instance the call to certain natives every frame like invincibility or anything can give such behaviour. Close to the definitive way to know if it's the hook/trainer or the game is to catch the bug with trainer installed but not used i.e. all options as they are when you just loaded the game.

The hook is updated to support .17 patch.

Thanks for the fast update AB!

But yeah as for the 'missions disappearing' thing I think people are trying to have various trainer features enabled after they complete a mission and then noticing no new missions are becoming available.

The fix is easy, just disable all the stuff you have enabled in the trainer and select kill player or wait around on the train tracks for a while and after you die the missions will appear, easy!

Psychotic Bison

Arthur may be the fastest gun in the West, but Alexander Blade is the fastest coder :)

Thanks AB!

Any plans to update the list of spawnable horses with new coats added for the PC version?  e.g. Appaloosa Few Spots, Arabian Warped Brindle, etc.

Thanks for all the hard work keeping this updated Alex, your work is much appreciated 🙂

would be nice to spawn a Chestnut Arabian in the horse section of the trainer, along with the Warped Brindle as mentioned above.

only other feature I can think of is to be able to launch the trainer using a hold down button combo on my 360 controller, in a similar fashion to the way Sjaak did with his Native trainer for GTAV.

thanks again :cookie:🍰

Bad news:
I've discovered what has been causing RDR2 to crash EVERY single time since Rockstars latest patch...
Either AB's simple trainer or the scripthook itself.
Let me explain before yelling at me.
I've built PCs all my life, both professionally and personally, so I do understand the tech.
My PC is home built i7-6850k (6/12 core @ 3.8 Ghz) with 32 Gigs Ram (non-overclocked) on Asus Rampage V motherboard (Latest BIOS) using NVIDIA Founders Edition 1080 GFX.

Ever since I started using the simple trainer (I use only the time sync option and the set weather features) my game will crash every single time within an hour of starting the game.
It doesn't matter where I am, what I'm doing or what graphic settings I'm using.
I've tested this with the lowest graphical options.
I've tried both Vulkan and DX12 API.
I can start game, not even activate the trainer (except for it loading when game loads), and come back an hour later and game has hard crashed to desktop with the only info being displayed is "RDR2 crashed unexpectedly".

I have tried reinstalling RDR2, I have tried various NVIDIA drivers (latest, to betas to old reliable drivers).
I have tried turning off ANY overlays, even STeam overlay.
I have tried Process Lasso
I have tried mem cleaners
I have tried different start-up commands -ignorepipelinecache, etc

None of these matter, the only thing that stops the crashes is completely removing the scripthook and trainer.
After removal, I've run the game for 12 straight hours 2 days in a row with zero crashes.

The crash starts out like this:
First objects in the game will temporarily disappear (Petersons Pot in camp, or various cups/bottles on tables) or the ground will start getting a square dark texture plastered over it where ever Arther walks.
Usually within 30 minutes of getting these effects, the crash will happen.

If i had to guess, I would think it's a memory leak, as I ma not overly taxing my system, and again, I've run it on minimal settings and it still crashes (it just takes longer).
Neither my CPU nor graphics card is over-clocked in anyway.
I have shut down all possible background programs.

I am not trying offend anyone who spends their free time to write these awesome scripts and trainers, and I would LOVE to keep using it, esp. the sync clock at real speed.
But at the moment, I can not use it and progress in the game without these crashes that have caused me to have to replay countless hours.

Please help.
Thank you.

Looks like ScriptHook Rdr 2 is still working after the new game update. Isn't that a little unexpected? I mean I'm glad the trainer doesn't need to be updated so it's a pleasant surprise. Just wondered if it's just random that it's still working or maybe it's not that important of a subject, not sure what others think about it.

It is true. I have the same problem. I thought i lost my mind, cuz i didnt understand whats going on and where i was wrong, while was playing with 1080ti on low graphic settings and had freezes.))) Deleted scripthook and everything was fine on ultra.)) Alex Blade is a good man, cuz his scripthook works on steam version, but also his hook ruins the game. Very sad that i have to play rdr2 without mods.(*(

And yes with hook other mission icons disappears after completing any quest. Sleep, travelling by train or loading save game helps, but it is... god damn stupid to do unnecessary actions.)

Next time this gets updated, please, for the love of god, add in the ability to spawn a male moose. A male bighorn ram would also be nice. Both spawn as female with the current trainer, and for crafting a male is needed.

I started hunting for a male moose in JANUARY and still have not found one.

Just because the GTA thread is locked, doesn't mean you should come here with this message.

Both GTA and RDR got stealth updated.

Alex will update when he can.

Not entirely sure this is a ScriptHook issue, but here goes.  I'm playing RDR 2 and GTA V on a 5120x1440 super-ultrawide Samsung CRG9.  The trainer menus for both RDR and GTA Native (and all others) have rendering issues at this resolution.  The menu background appears to render at 0,0 onscreen whereas the menu text and interaction portion renders in the center third of the screen.  This doesn't seem to break any functionality with the menus themselves, but I can't seem to find any information, anywhere about this - so I came here to continue troubleshooting.

At lower resolution like 1920x1080, the menus render perfectly, it's only  the wider resolutions like 2560, 3840 and the super-ultrawide 5120x1440 that seems to be the issue.  Of note, this also happens with menus based on SimpleHook as well (like RDR2's Outfit Changer menu).  Has anyone seen this before?  Is there a solution?

AWP3RATOR

This seem to be the game issue since not all the game functions which are used for ui are used in original scripts. I'm gonna verify this when will be able to launch the game in ultra-wide.

All

Those of you who are having fps drop issue while using the hook or the game crash cuz of the lack of memory starting with objects disappearing, can you show me the logs (*.log files) ?

Just a heads up, RDR2 updated to 1.0.1232.61 on EGS.

Everything seems to be working normally so far.

No crashes from the Rampage trainer or Ped Damage Overhaul plugins so it may just be a superficial update.

Hello.

Once upon a time I made Enhanced Native Trainer for GTAV (no I'm not going to do anything more on it), and AB's ScriptHook made that possible.

Josh's trainer for RDR2 is already very good but I'm idly considering having a play about again.

Is there a dev thread and/or a NativeDB somewhere? I can see this: https://www.mod-rdr.com/nativedb/index/builtin/ - is that the best bet now?

EGS version updated again just today to 1.0.1232.62 with no detectable change in script hook functionality... So far.
