I did try to launch the game before updating to .77 though cause some people in this thread had me paranoid the trainer would break, using a command line so it'd start in offline mode. Interestingly enough though, the game refuses to launch from the launcher in offline mode. Play just greys out after clicked then after a few seconds comes back and can be clicked again. Ended up just biting the bullet & letting it update, and it still worked for me anyways. Probably not all that relevant to your issue, but if someone else reads it and is concerned about preventing their game from updating so they don't have to chance it, it might help them. Or at least save them a minute of their time.

So, no issues with teleporting at all? I haven't played since posting that message, but CTDs became very prominent after the most recent couple of patches, up to that point.

Hello Blade I love you're script hook for red dead redemption 2 however there to seems to be a issue that i cant shake. Every time i use you're script hook with any trainer after i complete a mission all mission icons keep disappearing after every story mission completed until i sleep in the game. Can anyone confirm that Script Hook indeed closes the game if launching Online is attempted? Right now, I only need Script Hook to prevent the game from joining Online until a tool similar to GTAV Mod Manager (which deletes all unusual files on demand, enabling Online play) releases, but of course not taking any risks if there are any present.

Had the moonshine update v1232.13 and i get an error with script hook rdr2 which left an error log no my desktop

lenny simple trainer still works perfectly but that is with their own script hook that doesnt have these stupid update rules.

gta 5 just updated and i was wondering when Alexander blade was going to update script hook v because it is past the supported versions at this point and unfortunately none of my mods work because of this and i have gotten banned from online so i cant play online in the meantime. thanks

I'm not familiar with coding - Is this scripthook not working now, a result of rockstar changing something that made it not work with the newest patch, on purpose? Or, is it a common thing that happens unintentionally, and it just takes a quick fix to make it compatible typically?

Not on purpose. The way code works is that the positions of things change every time a new version is compiled/made, so every patch ScriptHook needs to be updated so the things it hooks on to can match things in the game's code correctly. This happened with GTA IV back in the day, happens with V, and will happen with RDR2, and the only way is waiting until Alexander Blade updates it.

In the meanwhile Lenny's Simple Trainer is still working, so for those like myself who can't live without Longer Days, you can use it instead (however you have to turn the custom timescale on each time you load the game).  EDIT: looks like the trainer's author doesn't recommend saving the game while the trainer is in use for the possibility of save corruption. Too bad. I guess I'll have to lay off RDR2 for a while or just put up with short days again until AB's scripthook is updated.

Anyway... Lenny's Trainer is brilliant but the "slower timecycle" function seems unreliable (time appears to accelerate if you are in shop menus or clothing menus and such). Think I'll stay away from it for now. I've been using the scripthook from nexusmods and an older version of Longer Days so far (and that's the extent of my cheating in Story Mode) and it's been rock solid. Anyhow. Patience young grasshopper and all that, I say to myself.

Lennys trainer gives me enough stuff to do during the wait for the Blade based trainers to be updated. And Lennys is a fairly easy installation.
